Looking back at the Lavazza Barista Challenge Maldives 2026 National Finals. 🏆

Held at FHAM - Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives. 2026, the National Finals brought together talented baristas who put their coffee knowledge, creativity and technical skills to the test.

For national champion Anuradha Umarasinghe Hapuwa, the achievement was the result of six months of preparation, consistent practice and developing new ideas for the challenge.
Now, his journey continues as he prepares to represent the Maldives at the Lavazza Barista Challenge 2027 in Turin, Italy. 🇮🇹

Here’s a look back at the highlights from the National Finals.

Looking back at the 1883 Mocktail Competition at FHAM - Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives 2026. 🍹

Held on 8 September, the competition brought together talented participants who challenged themselves to create innovative mocktails, showcasing their creativity, technique and understanding of flavour.

The winning creation was inspired by the Maldivian reef, fresh ocean breeze and the natural fruitiness of the islands. It also transformed a cocktail style the winner personally loved into a mocktail - a particularly meaningful challenge for his first-ever competition.
