When someone explains to me why their life is difficult (and mine is not) and why they're therefore suffering (and me not) 🤦‍♀️😅

Well, the real difference between you and me is that I don't complain as much, and I don't blame others for my suffering aka the choices I made 🤔

Anyone else here just following their passion and how easy is/ was it for you?

Yesterday I was so tired from the move, and as Saudi food isn’t really my thing, I actually wanted to cancel the invitation.

But then I thought that would be a bit unprofessional at such short notice, so I rang two friends – both head chefs – and we went there. I have to say, it was really delicious and creative! And giving gifts to people always feels good anyway.

By the way, these restaurant invitations are always complimentary, I don’t spend any of my own money on them. And I only accept the nice, classy invitations that are in line with my brand (of course, I turn down all the ugly fast-food chains whose food I anyway would never touch).

Since there isn’t too much to do here in Riyadh, I use this as a way to get out about every now and then and see something new. But at some point it gets a bit tiresome and you just want a break from all the luxury fuss and simply something simple and familiar from home, you know - just the easy simple things. Who knows that feeling? 🤭
