Lake Winona Farms

Well, half the BCM girls are now free-ranging! They are the largest bird we have at the farm and when you have this many to feed with today’s costs, out they go!

With the cooler weather that set in this week, they’ve decided to not give us a single egg alongside our silkies. Happy Autumn! 🫠🍁🍂

Love when we have a fresh cut pasture ❤️

We’re getting lots of questions and inquiries about farm school over the last couple of months!

So here’s the update! There will not be any farm school classes this fall. Our twins are about to be ONE at the end of this month already! Time sure goes by quick. 🥲

With that being said, I’m finally getting my bearings again! I am feeling excited to teach and full of new ideas for farm school and a new upcoming program in the spring. We miss all the Little Homesteaders we’ve had the privilege of teaching over the last few years and eager to have everyone back!

We are working on getting Step Up Scholarship approved as a direct provider and considering offering a once a week drop off program alongside our farm school co-op.

We would love to hear from the community! Drop a comment below of topics you want to learn and if you’re considering drop off options or co-op style learning alongside your child(ren)! 🌸☀️🍄🐓
