“Vuelvo a la Orilla” is the latest collaboration from Yaku means Water and O M A R I T O, brought to life by the beautiful voice of Lulacruza. We’re excited to premiere this special release on Deep House Tulum.

A song about returning to the body, to memory, and to the place where the current begins again. Gentle organic grooves, heartfelt vocals, and warm melodies come together to create something that feels deeply grounding from start to finish.

Part of SolSelectas’ Summer Sol XI compilation, this is one of those records that invites you to slow down, breathe, and simply be present.

Grateful to share this one with our community.

Hola Todos! 🌴

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and are feeling amazing vibes! We’re sending you good energy from everywhere as we celebrate a very special milestone — Deep House Tulum is five years strong. A lot of hard work and passion has gone into this project and today, for our 100th episode, we are thrilled to present the legendary Hólmar from Iceland 🇮🇸.

Born in the highlands of Iceland and raised by human parents after his elvish mother passed at birth, Hólmar’s early summers spent swimming in cold mountain lakes revealed his natural talent, catching the eye of Iceland’s national synchronized swimming coach. He trained for the Olympics until an injury ended his professional swimming career, leading him to form the Scandinavian dance troupe “Black Widows”.

It was through music for their shows that Hólmar discovered his true passion. After moving to New York, he threw iconic parties, co-founded Crack & Speed Records, and performed as part of Mr. Negative & The Spencer Filipsson Experience. He later teamed with Greg Oreck to form “Thugf**ker” and “Disco Gnome”, breaking onto the international scene via Life and Death Records alongside Tale of Us and DJ Tennis.

Hólmar has since explored numerous collaborations, including Lovestruckk, Theory of Light, The Birds Fly South, and the DJ collective Twisted Sisterz. In 2018, he launched his solo career while reviving impromptu performances of the Black Widows, merging his love of choreography and music.
We hope you enjoy this special episode as much as we loved listening to it 🤍

SimbaSōl’s “Peace Of Mind” is here, delivering a deeply emotional two-track journey that perfectly aligns with the soulful world of The Gardens of Babylon. From organic grooves to introspective melodies, this release invites you to connect with music on a whole new level.

“Peace Of Mind” serves as a meditative dancefloor experience, with a rich bassline, spiritual pads, and whimsical melodies that create a sense of release and reflection. Meanwhile, “Push” takes us to a softer, luminous space, inviting movement with a light, yet rich house groove.

This release is a reminder that the most powerful moments on the dancefloor are rooted in emotion, restraint, and soul.
