Cordial Conversations.

We welcomed a six-member delegation from the Institute for Development Studies (IDS) Sabah, led by YBhg. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ramzah Dambul, Chief Executive Officer, today. The courtesy visit from IDS Sabah brought together colleagues from two development institutes in Borneo to exchange knowledge and experiences on governance practices, research areas and ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Joining the CEO from IDS Sabah were Datin Hajah Hasnah Samsudin (COO), Mr. Victor Sikain (Acting Chief Research Officer), Mdm. Anita Lamjoon (Associate Director), Mr. Alexzander Palik (Special Officer to the CEO), and Ms. Addellyne Christie Albert (Research Officer).

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for both Institutes to share perspectives and build on their ongoing exchange on development for Sabah and Sarawak respectively.

Congratulations Prof. Ts. Dr. Jagadeesh!

Professor Ts. Dr. Jagadeesh Pasupuleti, Director of the Institute of Sustainable Green Energy and Technology (iSGET), i-CATS University College, has been recognised among the World’s Top 5% Scientists in the SciRank Global Scientist Index 2025.

This recognition reflects his significant research contributions in the areas of renewable energy systems, power systems, energy storage systems, microgrids, energy transition and hydrogen energy.

Congratulations to Professor Ts. Dr. Jagadeesh Pasupuleti on this outstanding achievement, which further strengthens i-CATS University College’s commitment to research excellence, innovation and sustainable technology development.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr Semiun anak Jubang, beloved father of our Chairman.
