In Travels Rod had most joints and this just plays crucial part of the whole segment to be functional as a whole piece

Make sure we check the the joint slots , some dust and debris usually formed after certain period of time that will causing seized prob

If the segments got stuck, excessive force is needed to pull out the joint which can cause severe damages and also becoming a loose joint

Use mild damp cotton buds to clean the slots internally
