The Little Red Temple installation in Taoyuan was created for the 入厝美術館－Entering Art Gallery event and community workshop, capturing the joy, blessings, and good wishes associated with the housewarming tradition.

Through its floating form and woven roof, the installation symbolises the connection between people, community, and the land. We are delighted to see it continue to serve as a small art space and gathering place within the social housing community, especially for children and families.

Final touch-ups are underway.

The community library will soon be filled with carefully selected books by the NGO, creating a welcoming space for the public to read, learn, and gather.

The centre will be open to the public soon, can’t wait.

Shaped by wind, tides, and drifting sand, the west coast of Taoyuan is a living landscape in constant transformation. Extending from the existing bamboo fence, a traditional form of shoreline protection, the installation is connected in the wider coastal context and uses its spiral form to reflect the movement, accumulation, and memory of the sand dunes.

《海岸記憶》- The installation is taking shape by the shore of Taoyuan.

《海岸記憶》The art installation for the 桃園地景藝術節2026/Taoyuan Land Art Festival is now under construction along the shore of Taoyuan, Taiwan.

Moon gate installed after a few rounds of testing, due to its unconventional off-centred pivot point.

Just a little while more, the project is almost complete.
