Borneo Adventure was established in 1987 to offer a travellerโ€™s alternative to mass tourism. Placing emphasis on the natural environment, culture and history of Sarawak and Sabah, we have established a reputation for innovative and informative tours. Today we are one of Malaysiaโ€™s most established inbound tour operators and offer a range of over 100 small group or individual tours of Borneo to choose from. We show sights that most tourists do not get to see and are eager to share our knowledge of the cultures and customs of the various different ethnic groups living in Sarawak and Sabah. Our guides are the key to the whole Borneo travel experience and we are proud to have some of the best in the industry. They have been chosen for their enthusiasm, as well as their knowledge of the local culture, the rainforest and its wildlife. Our staff guides are supplemented by experts (e.g. who assist on specialised study tours requiring in-depth information. Did you know the history behind it?

KIMF isn't just a food festival. It started back in 2002 from the vision of the late Dato Sim Swee Yong and the Kuching Old Market Community Association (KOMCA).

What began as a traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival โ€” celebrating reunion, togetherness and gratitude โ€” has grown into Sarawak's most beautiful symbol of Unity in Diversity.

Organized on the concept of "Sight, Sound & Taste", it was paused only in 2020 & 2021 due to Covid, and came back stronger. From 100 stalls to now over 100+ vendors, with 30% of them Dayak and Malay traders, serving alongside Chinese uncles and aunties and younger generations too.

This is why we love it. In Kuching, we don't just celebrate our own festival, we celebrate EACH OTHER'S. You can find halal satay next to Shanghai mooncakes, Kek Lapis mooncakes next to Korean fried chicken & cheesy Hotdogs โ€” just like in your video!

This year's 2026 edition is all about community harmony and youth entrepreneurship โ€” lots of young Sarawak foodies launching their dream stalls here.

While out on the trail recently, client Arran Moffat and his group kept running into fresh signs of feeding orangutans. Lemonโ€”our brilliant Bidayuh guideโ€”stopped to show the group the exact wild fruits and berries the orangutans were snacking on, letting everyone have a taste.

The best part? Just a short walk later, they spotted a wild orangutan moving through the canopy right above them. ๐Ÿฆง
