SENTUHAN: A Creative Convergence — an extraordinary one-day program where dance, the written word, and drawing collide! ⚡

Everyone is born to create, but when was the last time you let your body and your imagination move together? Sentuhan invites everyday folks and young people to step into a vibrant creative space. Through simple, fun movement games, you’ll bypass the overthinking mind and use your hands, feet, and entire body to stamp, write, and draw stories!

No formal dance or art training is required — just bring your energy, curiosity, and an open mind! This is a judgment-free zone designed to unlock creativity, relieve stress, and celebrate community spirit.

• Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Venue: City Junction, Penang
• Age Group: 12 years old & above (Youth, Adults & Families welcome!)

Reading your reflections reminded us why we do what we do. Thank you for entrusting jet to us, and for allowing us to witness his joyful spirit, his courage, and the pure happiness he found through dance. He never simply performed, he filled every rehearsal and every stage with light, laughter, and love.
Seeing Jet's sister step onto the stage in his honour, just as she lovingly prepared the dancers as she always had, was an incredibly moving reminder that love never truly leaves us. It lives on in the people we cherish, in the memories we hold, and in the lives they continue to inspire.
Our performance, A Dance for a Joyful Spirit, was created with Jet in our hearts. It was dedicated not only to him, but also to every child and family facing life-limiting challenges. Through dance, we celebrate resilience, hope, dignity, and the precious gift of every moment.

Thank you, Alice, for your trust, your kindness, and for reminding us that dance is so much more than movement. It is belonging. It is love. It is memory. It is a legacy that continues to touch lives.

💐 A Dance for a Joyful Spirit By Studio Pentas Dance Freely Special Needs Team. Created in loving memory of Kong Zheng Jet, one of the team's original members, this dance celebrates a remarkable young man whose love for dance brought joy to all around him. From the grace of Ave Maria to the vibrant energy of Chinese melodies, red fans and scarlet scarves, the work honours Zheng Jet's passion, spirit, and joy in movement.
This performance is also dedicated to children living with life-limiting health conditions, celebrating resilience, hope, and the gift of every moment.💐

六月十四日，我出席了 Malaysian's Children Hospice 举办的筹款音乐会。当开幕舞蹈即将开始，司仪缓缓念出以上这一段文字时，我的泪水不由自主地滑落，所有的思念，如泉水般涌上心头。。。

这一次，舞蹈老师亲自下场演出，并邀请 Jet 的姐姐代表 Jet，完成这场意义非凡的表演。我把决定权交给姐姐，告诉她一句话：“跟随自己的心去决定就好”。。。

姐姐不但决定代 Jet 完成这次演出，也如同过去每一次演出前一样，细心地为 Jet 的舞蹈队友们化妆，整理仪容。。。

这一次，我不再以“特殊儿妈妈”的身份观看表演，而是以一位观众的身份坐在台下。截然不同的心情，五味杂陈的感受，让我无法清晰说出当下的情绪。。。

但我非常庆幸，当年的自己做出了让 Jet 学习舞蹈，参与演出的决定。因为我目睹，他是如此投入，如此享受在舞台上的每一个时刻。舞蹈让他建立自信，使他短暂的人生变得丰富而精彩，也让他留下了许多美好的回忆。

Jet 与舞蹈老师结缘于2019年。这些年来的相处，让我对老师的敬重与日俱增。更感恩老师始终以爱与耐心陪伴这群特殊青年，从不以商业利益为出发点，而是真心看见他们的能力，尊严与价值。。。

Teacher Aida 谢谢您，让 Jet 曾经拥有一个尽情绽放的舞台。谢谢您，让我们看见，原来舞蹈不仅是表演，更是一份陪伴，一份成全，以及一份永远不会被遗忘的爱。❤️
