Happy Malaysia Day & Happy Holiday

🖥️ Giving an Old Bitcoin Mining PC a New Life

Customer sent in an old computer previously used for Bitcoin mining and asked us to convert it into a normal-use PC without a dedicated graphics card.

Before recommending any upgrade, we need to thoroughly check the machine first. 🔧

We’ll inspect the motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage, power supply, cooling system and overall hardware condition, and confirm whether the CPU supports integrated graphics.

Since mining PCs were often running 24/7 under heavy load, stability testing is especially important.

After the full inspection, we’ll advise the customer:
What can still be reused, what should be upgraded, and whether it’s worth spending on.

♻️ Sometimes an old PC doesn’t need to be thrown away.
Check it properly, upgrade only what’s necessary, and give it a second life.

In IT, scripting remains one of the fastest and most efficient ways to get things done. 💻⚡

Using a mouse is simple and convenient, but for repetitive IT tasks, clicking through everything manually can be surprisingly slow.

A good script can turn 20 manual steps into one command — faster, consistent, and repeatable.

Automate what can be automated.
Script more. Click less. 😄

🏗️ IT Infrastructure Planning – Kebun Bunga

Visited a construction company at Kebun Bunga today to understand their current IT setup, requirements and issues.

Before proposing anything, we first understand how they work and what they actually need. From there, we can plan the right solution for Internet, Network Cabling, Wi-Fi, Server, Firewall, CCTV and other IT infrastructure.

Special thanks to their IT team member who flew directly from KL HQ to Penang for the meeting. 🙏 Having both sides discuss the technical requirements together makes the planning much clearer and smoother.

Next step: Propose → Plan → Schedule → Implement → Support.

For us, IT is not just about supplying equipment.
Understand the problem first, then propose the right solution. 👍

New Customer, New IT Infrastructure Project 🌐

For a new customer, we don’t start by simply selling equipment.

We visit the site, understand their current setup and requirements, then prepare a simple infrastructure plan covering network cabling, Wi-Fi AP locations and connectivity.

Once the customer agrees with the proposed solution, we arrange the installation schedule, complete the setup and testing, and continue to provide 1-year remote technical support after installation.

From understanding → planning → installation → support, we stay with the customer throughout the project.
