Let’s talk about creativity in the AI era and maybe the crisis we are all going through.
Let’s talk about creativity in this AI era…so much I want to say, so many angles to explore, but…this was my chosen angle.

Trevor Noah is trending — not only because he has sharp, on-point opinions, but because he has a sharp eye for formats too.
If you follow him, you’ll actually start to see the shifts happening across the streaming universe.
The stats and reports are already telling the story: Netflix shows are reportedly losing half their audience by season two. People are scrolling for hours, not knowing what to watch. Meanwhile, Apple TV is making some of the greatest shows out there right now (let’s agree on that one).
Netflix’s answer? Short format. More like YouTube.
YouTube’s answer? Pushing hard for paid subscriptions, so it becomes less dependent on ads. Which means — it wants to be more like TV.
Ouuf... let’s observe.
What’s the true value of money? Is it the money itself, or how you represent that money? We’ve been watching this (quiet) move by the wealthy elite to distinguish themselves — once again — from the masses.
But now they’ve raised the bar really high: the new markers of luxury may not just be things, but time. The luxury of disconnecting. Of not needing to be online to generate more money, for example. In a time when common, traditional professionals, like doctors, engineers, and architects, have to be chronically online and producing content just to be seen and to generate income, we’re watching a different move from people with enough time (and money) to afford being offline: to read, to hike, to live a life outside the frenetic consumption wheel.
What do you think?

Every few years, fashion invents a new name for something people have quietly been doing for a while. This time, it’s gorpcore: the trend of wearing high-performance outdoor clothing in everyday life. Hiking shoes to brunch. Waterproof jackets to the office. Technical fleeces on a coffee run.
The name comes from GORP (“Good Ol’ Raisins and Peanuts”), the classic trail mix hikers carry.
But honestly?
I have another name for it. Aging wisely.
I don’t have a scientific study to prove this, just my own experience.
I’ve been living in Amsterdam for the past four years, after spending almost three years in Paris. Before that, I lived in Maputo, Mozambique. Looking back, I can almost trace my life through the shoes I wore.

🇰🇷 I’m personally fascinated by how a country so specific about its own beauty standards became the trendsetter for cosmetics that work across skin tones, ages, and genders without discrimination.
South Korea is now leading multiple categories, music, streaming, cosmetics, food, even tourism, and in this video, I dug a little into how they became today’s powerhouse of culture.

For me, being a millennial mother means I did a full 180: from “technology is going to teach my kid amazing things” to “omg, how do I block and avoid technology around my kid?”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think a lot of millennial parents are facing the same crisis. How do you protect your kids without raising them under a rock? (…)
I don’t have an answer (in case you were hoping to find one by reading this). Honestly, I have more philosophical questions than a well-structured argument. But bear with me.
Analog is back.
recently launched their Summer 2026 Trends Report, where they pull data from 600 million active users. The theme of this specific report is the connection between sports and fashion. Sports is currently something you wear, embody, and build an identity around. Watch the video for more.
By the way, who are you cheering from in this World Cup?

How much of what you consider “modern shopping” was actually shaped by China? More than most people realise. Over the last two decades, China has built one of the most sophisticated consumer ecosystems in history: one that uses data to anticipate behaviour, compress supply chains, and turn social media into a checkout counter. The West has been following its lead ever since. Swipe left to understand how.
Editor’s note: This series focuses on China’s role in shaping modern consumption: the innovation, the data infrastructure, and the models the West has adopted. The environmental impact of ultra-fast fashion is a real and separate conversation, and I plan to have it soon.
