Nesta sexta-feira, convidamos amigos, familiares, colegas e toda a comunidade dançante a juntarem-se a nós num gesto de solidariedade, união e esperança.

O nosso colega, amigo e irmão, Cassamo Bandeira, enfrenta actualmente um desafio de saúde e precisa do apoio de todos nós. Com o objetivo de contribuir para o seu tratamento médico, realizaremos um evento solidário onde cada presença e cada contribuição farão a diferença.

O evento contará ainda com a participação dos DJs convidados EL KINGZ, HDIAS e NOLLAS, que se juntam a esta causa solidária para tornar a noite ainda mais especial.

DSDF26 - DANCE SPOT BEACH FESTIVAL 2026

ARTIST: SHEILA DAVA

Specialty: Afro-House, Hip-Hop, Traditional

Mozambican Dance, Contemporary Dance
Sheila began her artistic journey at the age of 5 in a cultural association, exploring dance, theater, and poetry. At 17, she led the Artevismo project, using art as a tool to resist gender-based violence.
At 19, she represented Mozambique at the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York, advocating for gender equality on an international stage. Since 2019, she has been teaching dance and leading workshops in schools across Maputo.
In 2020, she joined the Dance Spot academy as an instructor of Afro-House, Hip-Hop, and traditional dance. In 2023, she founded the Cheerleader Project at the French School of Mozambique, promoting self-confidence and teamwork through dance.

ARTISTA: DJ E-KINS

RHYTMIC EXPERTISE - AFRO-LATIN

Where there is a beat, there is Afro; fuse Latin American music and DJ E-kins is there.
Afro-latin music, whilst not limited to it, is the genre of choice for DJ E-Kins, or as he usually likes to say, “the Afro-Latin genre chose me.”

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa for nearly two decades, DJ E-kins has been at it almost equally as long. When not playing at international Afro-Latin festivals, or his Dance Spirit SA school socials and private events, he is a resident deejay at the longstanding Sankayi Lounge and Club in Sandton, doing his bit to exhibit the rich, African continental-music and commercial genres the venue is synonymous with. His absolute new favorite pastime - doing live online sets collaborating with like-minded Afro-Latin enthusiasts, where he continuously gains international reach and following.

Deejaying was a natural progression as a Salsa and Kizomba dancer and instructor, and with Afro-beats being a strong musical socio cultural influence as part of his Ghanaian origins, it only made sense to give in to the urge to take on the decks and express his love for Afro Latin culture.

Specialty: SALSA & BACHATA

Leigh is the director and principal teacher at the Salsa Addicts Dance Studio in Johannesburg, where she has been teaching and performing since 2011.

While her teaching focus is on Cross Body style Salsa and Bachata, her diverse background includes a range of Afro-Latin dances, Brazilian Samba, Ballet, Jazz, Modern Dance and Tap Dancing.

Leigh is a strong believer in continuous learning, technical training, and incorporating her love of history and music theory into the genres she teaches.
