And just like that — June is done 🏳️‍🌈

What a month it’s been.
From the yoga mat to the runway, from the mountains to our mural, from quizzes to Gigi’s music video launch, and from the dance floor to a lekker braai — our community showed up and showed the world exactly who we are.

To every person who came through, brought their people, donated, volunteered, performed, organised, and hosted — THANK YOU. You are the reason feels like home.

Together with Sister Namibia, The Project Room - Namibia is opening its doors for an intimate evening of storytelling — a safe space to share, honour, and affirm our collective journeys.

is here, and this year we're celebrating with six events that are by us, for us, and wide open to everyone who wants to be part of it.

From the yoga mat to the runway, from the hiking trail to the storytelling circle, from a new Pride mural to a full house of rainbows — this month is ours.

To our community here in Namibia: Come As You Are. Bring your people — your chosen family, your day-ones, your allies, and everyone in between. There is space for you here.

And to the global q***r community — we see you, we stand with you, and we celebrate alongside you.

This Pride Month, we're putting colour, visibility and community on the wall.

Join us at the Sister Namibia office (163 Nelson Mandela Avenue, Windhoek) at 11h00 on Saturday, 20 June to celebrate the unveiling of our new mural, take some photos and help put the finishing touches on the artwork.

We’re gathering the gworls, g**s, thems, and femmes for a special Trivia Night!

If that wasn't enough, the legendary Gigi Has Arrived. is making a special appearance to keep us all on our toes.

Gather your smartest besties and come through for a night of big brains and bigger laughs.

This June, Namibia Equal Rights Movement and Reframe Kolletiv are taking that seriously — join us for a gentle (FREE OF CHARGE) around Avis Dam.

Whether with friends, family, or on your own — this hike is open to everyone. We'll pace ourselves, enjoy Windhoek's beautifully hilly scenery, and spend a relaxed morning in community.

Mental health matters, and sometimes the best thing we can do is step outside, take a breath, and (re)connect.
