Yesterday marked an important milestone as we successfully presented the First Capital Namibia National Housing Sector Study to stakeholders from across the public and private sectors.

The study provides an evidence-based assessment of Namibia's housing market, focusing on two of its most pressing challenges: housing affordability and the national housing backlog. It also sets out a strategic reform agenda with practical recommendations, including housing market segmentation, reform of the national housing finance system, and the development of an integrated national housing system to improve housing delivery.

This study is intended to contribute to informed policy dialogue, strengthen collaboration across the sector, and support sustainable, long-term solutions to Namibia's housing challenges.
