To the Great People of Nasarawa State

My heart is filled with gratitude for the overwhelming support you gave to the Labour Party in the just-concluded Nasarawa North Senatorial Election last Saturday.

To the farmers who left their farms, the traders who closed their shops, the market women who left their stalls, the youths, elders, and every patriotic citizen who came out to vote and defend the future of our state—I thank you. Your sacrifice, courage, and determination will never be forgotten.

While the election was marred by serious irregularities and actions that fell short of the democratic ideals we all cherish, let no one mistake our calmness for weakness. We believe in justice, and we shall pursue every lawful and legitimate means to reclaim the mandate freely given by the people.

The struggle for a better Nasarawa State is bigger than any single election. It is a struggle to reclaim our future, restore hope to our people, and build a state where every citizen can prosper.

I urge you not to be discouraged. Instead, let this moment strengthen our resolve. Let us unite more than ever before. Let us organize better, work harder, and remain focused on the vision that brought us together.

Victory comes from Almighty God, and with faith, unity, and perseverance, our day shall surely come.

Remain peaceful. Remain vigilant. Remain committed.

Together, we will usher in a new Nasarawa State.

5G – God Give Gaza Gbefwi Governor.

Rt Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi dug boreholes across communities to meet the water needs of the people in Akwanga Local Government, Nasarawa State.

My door-to-door campaign engagement over the past few days, in support of our Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Nasarawa North, Hon. Labaran Maku, was both encouraging and inspiring.

The overwhelming support from the people continues to strengthen our resolve to work for a better future built on good governance, accountability, and development.

The journey continues. Victory is sure.
