When I took a great interest in hand-stitching in secondary school, I never imagined it would come in handy years later.

While I was busy hand-sewing new clothes and fixing up torn clothes, I was dreaming of white-collar jobs and imagining myself as a full-blown corporate baddie. 🤦‍♀️

My dream was large, mehn. I thought of office spaces, teamwork, and board meetings. Even corporate vacations. Sigh.

Fast-forward to today, and here I am using those same hands to fix the hems of my customers’ trousers.

God must have had a great laugh, watching me from heaven daydream about corporate life. Hilarious.

He who sits in heaven laughs, indeed.

Because apparently, He was like, “Let her dream; you can't deny a girl from dr thoughthough, she will need those sewing skills later.” 😭😂

Don't joke with anything you know how to do. You never know when it will become important.
