I think sometimes we are waiting for a level of clarity that will only come after we start moving.

We want to know exactly how everything will work out before we take the first step.

But life doesn’t always work that way.

Sometimes you have to start with the little you have.

Take the baby step.

Make the call.
Send the message.
Apply.
Start.
Try again.

You may not have the whole plan yet, but you can take the next step.

And while you’re moving, keep praying. Keep trusting God. Keep adjusting.

You don’t need to know the whole journey to take the next step.

Sometimes, when we are waiting for God to do something, we forget to remember what He has already done.

Take a minute today and look back.

Remember the situation you thought would break you.

Remember the prayer you cried over.

Remember the door you didn’t think would open.

Remember the season you didn’t know how you would survive.

And yet… here you are.

Maybe your current prayer hasn’t been answered yet.

But that doesn’t mean God has stopped being faithful.

Your past is filled with reminders that He has carried you before.

So when fear starts telling you, “What if this doesn’t work out?”

Remind yourself:

God has done it before.
God is still God.
And He hasn’t changed. ❤️🙏🏽

Our hair days are always beautiful

One thing I’m learning is that making mistakes doesn’t mean you have to spend the rest of your life introducing yourself by them.

You can say, “I got that wrong.”

You can admit that you made a bad decision.

You can acknowledge that you procrastinated, ignored something you knew you should do, stayed somewhere too long or made choices you regret.

But after you’ve learned the lesson, you have to allow yourself to grow.

Because your past is something you have, not necessarily who you are.

Don’t keep punishing yourself for a version of you that didn’t know what you know now.

Learn from her.

Forgive her.

Give her grace.

And then become better.

God is not finished with you. ❤️🙏🏽

You made a mistake. That doesn’t make you a mistake.

Sometimes, we need to stop and take stock of how far we have come.

Not to brag about our achievements, but to remember God’s faithfulness.

Think about the seasons you thought would drain you.

The situations you thought you would never survive.

The prayers you cried over.

The moments you wondered, “How am I going to get through this?”

And yet… you got through.

Maybe life isn’t exactly where you thought it would be by now. That’s okay.

Take a moment to look back and see that God has been carrying you all along.

Your past is evidence of His faithfulness.

If He gave me life, He can give me everything. ❤️🙏🏽
