A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, THE OSU AJIRI OF EDEGE CHIEFDOM, FOR GIVING MIMIKID A FUTURE

When we read the news that Mimikid had stepped into her classroom at BISHI-RI International School, Akwanga, our hearts were filled with joy, and some of us could not hold back our tears.

On behalf of the entire family of the Fathur Rahman Girl Child Empowerment Foundation, we say a deep and heartfelt thank you to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Suleiman Ahmed Eko IV, the Osu Ajiri of Edege Chiefdom.

Every day, we meet girls whose dreams are bigger than their circumstances. We see the light in their eyes, and we also see the fear that it may never be allowed to shine. We know how many brilliant girls have had their hopes put away, not because they lacked talent, but because no one was there to open the door for them.

Mimikid sang for His Royal Majesty, and he did not simply applaud and move on. He listened to her voice, saw her potential, and made a promise. Then he kept it. In a world where promises are made easily and forgotten just as easily, his faithfulness has touched us deeply.

Today, a little girl who once stood to sing in the hope of being noticed now sits in a classroom with a future that is secure, from primary school through to university. Her parents can breathe a little easier. Her family can dream a little higher. And her story will remind countless other girls that their voices matter and that someone out there is listening.

Your Majesty, you have not only paid school fees. You have given a child confidence, hope, and a place in tomorrow. That is a gift that will outlive us all.

To our dear Mimikid, we want you to know that you are loved and cheered on by many people you have never met. Let every lesson, every book, and every song carry you closer to the woman God created you to be. One day, you will look back at this moment and understand how many lives your story has touched. When that day comes, we hope you will open doors for other little girls, just as a kind and faithful king opened one for you.

May God Almighty bless His Royal Majesty with long life, good health, and wisdom. May He reward every kindness shown to the vulnerable, and may the people of Edege Chiefdom continue to prosper under his reign.

6 DAYS TO GO: OSU AGWADA BACKS EMPOWER HER 3.0, PLEDGES ATTENDANCE

With barely six days to go before the Cash Award Presentation for the winners of Empower Her 3.0, the Fathur Rahman GirlChild Empowerment Foundation (FARGEF) has received the backing and endorsement of the Osu Agwada, Alh. Abubakar Sadiq Kaika Obagu.

Leading a four-woman delegation to the Osu Agwada, Miss Godiya Joshua Osu described the forthcoming Grand Finale, scheduled to hold at the Osu Ajiri Palace, as a momentous occasion that deserves the presence and support of stakeholders across the Afo Nation.

She stressed the need for stakeholders to come together and support the girl child, noting that Empower Her 3.0 is not merely a talent competition, but an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and invest in the potential of young girls.

Responding, the Osu Agwada assured the delegation that the Agwada Chiefdom is fully invested in the Grand Finale and pledged his presence at the event.
