A Nigerian Catholic priest, Prince Chidi Philip, has advised Christian couples, particularly Catholics, not to stop at traditional marriage rites.

He also made a strong claim about marital s*x before a valid Church wedding, describing it as a mortal sin under Catholic teaching.

15-YEAR-OLD GIRL RESCUED AFTER BEING LOCKED IN TOILET FOR MONTHS IN RIVERS STATE.

A 15-year-old girl identified as Amarachi has been rescued after she was allegedly locked inside a toilet for several months by her employers in Abuloma, Rivers State.

Amarachi, who hails from Ebonyi State, was reportedly living with a couple, Eze Simeon and his wife, as a domestic worker.

According to reports, the teenager was allegedly locked in the toilet as punishment after she was accused of committing an offence. She was reportedly subjected to severe neglect and allegedly fed only once a day with leftover food.

The girl was rescued on Monday, September 15, after she reportedly raised an alarm while the couple were away. Neighbours heard her cries for help and immediately contacted the police.

Police officers from the Abuloma Division reportedly arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the teenager.

The circumstances surrounding the alleged abuse are expected to be investigated.

MOPOL OFFICE KÏLLÊD BY A SOLDIERS IN DELTA STATE.

We received a sad news from Delta state in which a Mopol officer named Fidelis Agbike was allegedly kïllêd by a soldier. According to his elder sister, Fidelis went out yesterday as usual. He was a Mobile Police Officer (MOPOL) and rode his motorcycle to a bar they usually visited.

While trying to alight from his motorcycle, his leg reportedly brushed against a soldier identified as Sgt. Baraya Shehu, who was standing nearby, according to the family, the soldier allegedly slapped Fidelis, and an argument quickly turned into a fight.

The soldier later reportedly called other soldiers, who allegedly joined in beating Fidelis the MOPOL officer, sadly he did not survive the incident.

A man who left home like any other day, expecting to return to his family, only to ended up losing his life in an encounter involving soldiers.

This is Fulani bandit Kingpin Mustapha Babaro who has been disturbing the areas of Kankara and environs of Katsina State.

He was arrested earlier 2024 and handed over to securities. Allegedly he was transported to Abuja but only for him to suffice back to the community and kept terrorizing them.

According to reports he is the mastermind behind the massacre of the 30 people kllled in a mosque earlier this year in Gidan Mantau village of Malumfashi Area of Katsina State.

Local report has it that the Fulani Group Miyetti Allah allegedly facilitated his release and bail in collaboration with some key politicians of his ethnicity that have been bailing this criminals.

Remember that Kachalla Security man once admitted that “they made sure all arrested bandits were freed and the issue of banditry is a fight between brothers”, maybe this man was part of the freed ones.

This is one tragedy with the fight against banditry either aided by ethnic groups or organizations and supported by politicians or security personnels.

This is why is better to neutralize and eliminate them before any form of bureaucracy comes into play. Security is not where circle of impunity should be found.

87-year-old man Cūt Off Judge’s Hand in Fufore, Adamawa — Att&cked Him During Court Case Over Dispute

An 87-year-old man, Dahiru Garba of Korawa Village, has been arraigned before Chief Magistrate Court I, Yola, over the alleged att&ck on the Presiding Judge of Mayo-Ine Area Court, Fufore LGA.

The Adamawa State Police Command said the incident occurred on August 31, 2026, while the judge, Hon. Dauda Hamman, was presiding over a case involving Garba and one Ismail Yusuf.

According to the police, Garba allegedly att&cked the judge with a cůtlass, repeatedly striking his hand and causing grievous injvries.

He was arrested and later arraigned on a one-count charge of causing grievous hvrt, contrary to Section 219 of the Penal Code Law of Adamawa State, 2018.

When the charge was read and interpreted to him, the defendant reportedly pleaded guilty and blamed the dev!l for his action, expressing regret over the incident.

The court ordered that he be remanded at the Yola Correctional Facility pending further hearing.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, assured the public that the matter would be diligently prosecuted to ensure justice is served.

Her Husband Poisoned Her.....
A woman has reportedly d!ed after consuming roasted pork allegedly given to her by her husband.

According to reports, the woman was invited to her husband’s workplace, where he allegedly handed her some roasted pork to eat.

She reportedly wanted to keep part of the meat and take it home for their children, but her husband allegedly insisted that she eat everything, telling her they would get something else for the children on their way home.

After she returned home, however, the woman reportedly became seriously ill.

Her children were said to have raised an alarm after noticing that foam was coming from her nose and mouth. They reportedly rushed her to seek medical attention, but sadly, she died on the way to the hospital.

Reports further claim that some of the woman’s final statements raised suspicions that the meat could have been poisoned.

Following her death, her husband was reportedly arrested and remains in police custody as investigations continue.

The man allegedly told investigators that disagreements between his wife and her family were among the issues surrounding the incident, with an argument reportedly involving ₦191,000 also mentioned.
