As part of Project TutorED 2026 in Delta State, students are gaining practical skills in makeup artistry, equipping them with valuable knowledge they can build into a source of income and sustainable livelihood.
Through hands-on training and mentorship, we are empowering young people with skills that extend beyond the classroom and create opportunities for economic independence.

Project Tutored | Journalism Training in Kano
At Project Tutored, we believe education is not only about what students learn, but also about giving them the confidence and opportunity to use their knowledge to shape the world around them.
During our journalism training in Kano State, students gained practical experience in journalism, putting their learning into action through hands-on activities and storytelling.
One powerful moment came as students spoke about the importance of supporting girl-child education in Kano, using their voices to highlight an issue that directly impacts the future of their communities.
We are grateful to our partners, facilitators, educators, and everyone who continues to contribute to the Project Tutored vision.

DAY 5 at Project Tutored Enugu 2026
The Evergreen Initiative in collaboration with She Builds Lives-powered digital literacy training programme provided these students from low-income families with an opportunity to develop practical digital skills in a supportive learning environment. The class for today was quite engaging and informative. The participants were relaxed and grasped the instructorâs teachings.
During the class, the instructor introduced the participants to other aspects of Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and guided them through its basic features and how to work with the application. The session was designed to build the participantsâ confidence and familiarity with a practical tool used in programming and software development.
After the technology session, the participants took a break and engaged in recreational activities. They participated in various sports, including football, volleyball, and table tennis, which provided an opportunity for relaxation, teamwork, and physical activity.
Following the sports activities, the participants had lunch before returning to conclude the dayâs programme. The training activities were successfully completed at 1:00 p.m.
Overall, the day combined technology education, recreation, teamwork, and social interaction, contributing to the participantsâ academic and personal development.
We can all join hands and make these vibrant participants achieve their dreams. Together, we can achieve more and more indigent children will be reached!

*Building Confident Voices and Smart Money Habits*
Today at Project Tutored â26 which was brought by Kwara State Education Trust Fund, our students engaged in two transformative sessions designed to prepare them for leadership and independence.
One cohort participated in an intensive *Public Speaking* training where they learned how to articulate ideas, manage stage fright, and communicate with confidence.
The other cohort had a session on *Financial Literacy*, gaining practical knowledge on budgeting, saving, and making smart financial decisions for their future.
This is what it means to invest in young people.

The Evergreen Initiative for Empowerment and Constructive Development, in partnership with Kwara State Education Trust Fund (KwaraETF), She Builds Lives Foundation, and with support from SAS Foundation, officially commenced Project TutorED 2026 in Kwara State.
The initiative is designed to equip students from public secondary schools with quality academic support, digital literacy, STEM exposure, leadership development, mentorship, and practical vocational skills. Through this strategic collaboration, the programme aims to empower young people with the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive academically and beyond.
Project TutorED 2026 reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to quality education, nurturing future leaders, and creating lasting impact across communities in Kwara State.
