Everyone will have something to say about how you live your life.
If you work too much, they have something to say.
If you rest, they have something to say.
If you spend money on yourself, they have something to say.
If you decide to focus on yourself, they have something to say.
At some point, you have to ask yourself:
“Am I actually happy with the way I’m living, or am I just trying to satisfy everybody?”
Me, I’ve chosen peace.
I listen when someone gives me good advice, but I don’t allow every opinion to control my decisions.
You cannot live your life trying to keep everybody happy.
And honestly, I’m much happier since I learnt that. ❤️
