A few weeks ago, a client reached out to me to teach her daughter Mathematics and English. I was honest with her and explained that I do not take English Language so she asked me to help her get a good English tutor.
I did exactly that.

After we had agreed on the timing and price, I reached out to another tutor(Mr D) who is also in this space. He spoke with the client, they agreed on their own arrangement and he started teaching the child English Language.

While the English class had already started, I was still waiting for the client to confirm when I should resume the Mathematics class. After some time, I reached out to ask why the Maths class had not started that was when the client told me that the English tutor said he could also take Mathematics at a cheaper rate so she decided to give him both subjects.

What hurt me most was not even losing the class. What hurt me was that tutor D never told me anything. No feedback. No explanation.... Nothing.

I brought him in with good intentions only for him to take over the slot I was supposed to handle.
Honestly, I felt betrayed.

But one thing is certain: this experience will not stop me from helping people. I will continue to recommend others when I can because I refuse to let one painful experience change the good in me.

Still, people should learn to do better. Trust is not something to play with.

We didn’t have any w£ , but while we were going to charge back at them, because of course we were not going to run away from people like that, we saw a shop close by.

So we picked different objects from the shop to defend ourselves and paid for them.

I don’t care what will happen next because it’s self-defence. And there will be no case because it will be considered self-defence. So let it be known that they were w@rn£d in advance..."
