Scripture: Proverbs 4:16-20

KEY INSIGHT
Proverbs 4 contrasts two paths: the path of the wicked and the path of wisdom. Understanding both helps us choose wisely.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WAY OF THE WICKED
1. Restlessness in Evil (PROVERBS 4:16)
The wicked are so consumed by evil that they cannot rest until they have carried it out.
2. Appetite for Destruction (PROVERBS 4:17)
They "eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence." Harm to others is their routine.
3. Lack of Direction (PROVERBS 4:19)
"The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble." Without God’s guidance, they continually fall.

THE BENEFITS OF GOD’S PATH OF WISDOM
1. Illumination (PROVERBS 4:18);
"The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." Light dispels darkness.
2. Discernment: Walking in wisdom gives spiritual sight. You recognize traps before they trap you.
3. Divine Guidance (PROVERBS 4:12);
God’s Word directs your steps and keeps you from stumbling.
4. Progressive Brightness (PROVERBS 4:18);
Your future does not grow darker. In God, it becomes clearer and brighter.

CONCLUSION
Victory is not by might, but by alignment. When you stay on God’s path of wisdom, no scheme formed against you can succeed. SHALOM!!!

Topic: The Anger That Brings About Change
Texts: Psalm 105:15,1 Samuel 18:12, Genesis 31:36

Not all anger is bad. There is an anger that destroys, and there is an anger that delivers. Today we learned the difference.

KEY INSIGHTS FROM THE MESSAGE
1. God Defends His Own (Psalm 105:15) "Do not touch my anointed one and do my prophets no harm." When God rises in anger on your behalf, every plot against you scatters. Divine anger is the guarantee of divine protection and deliverance.

2. Ungodly Anger Stems From Insecurity (1 Samuel 18:12) Anger rooted in fear, pride, and comparison will only destroy you. Saul’s anger cost him his throne. Don’t let jealousy turn your destiny to ashes.

3. Righteous Anger Confronts Injustice (Genesis 31:36) Godly anger is not sin. It is holy boldness. It speaks up against lies, covenant breaking, and exploitation. It is the fire that corrects what is wrong.

CONCLUSION
Saul’s anger made him lose a crown.
Your anger can make you gain purpose.
Don’t waste it on bitterness. Invest it in prayer, in responsibility, and in doing God’s will. That’s how anger becomes the fuel for transformation. SHALOM!!!
