The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its various degree programmes for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 academic sessions.

Recognized as Nigeria’s leading academic hub in part-time and sandwich programmes, the institute has opened its application portal for prospective candidates seeking quality higher education.

The application process commences in February 2026. The application fee is set at N15,000.

JAMB official deadline for the 2026/2027 admission process across tertiary institutions:

🔥 Federal University Lafia Releases Post-UTME Screening Details for 2026/2027 Admission Cycle Including Minimum Score Requirements

FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, MINNA 2026/2027 REGISTRATION/PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE (2026 UTME) ADMISSION INTO NEWLY APPROVED PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

UNIOSUN OPENS POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has announced the commencement of applications for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. Eligible candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, as well as those intending to switch their first choice to the university, are invited to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates who scored at least 160 in the 2026 UTME are qualified to apply for the screening exercise.

Applicants seeking admission into the programmes listed below must have obtained a minimum score of 200 in the UTME:

- Law
- Islamic Law
- Nursing
- Medicine and Surgery

Candidates who chose any of these courses but did not meet the required score are encouraged to consider other programmes for which they satisfy the admission criteria.

In addition, applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026, to be eligible for admission.

O'Level Requirements

Applicants are expected to have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where required.

For most courses, O'Level results from a maximum of two sittings are acceptable.

However, candidates applying for:

- Medicine and Surgery
- Nursing
- Law
- Islamic Law

must obtain the required five credits in a single sitting.

Direct Entry applicants may also be considered with a minimum of Lower Credit qualification where applicable.

Direct Entry Candidates

All Direct Entry applicants, including graduates of UNIOSUN's IJMB and JUPEB programmes, must participate in the screening exercise.

Candidates are required to obtain the Direct Entry form through JAMB and complete the screening registration on the university portal.

Academic transcripts should reach the Registrar, Osun State University, on or before Friday, September 4, 2026.

Application Procedure

Registration is to be completed online through the university’s admission portal.

Applicants should:

1. Access the admission portal.
2. Read all instructions carefully.
3. Fill out the online application form.
4. Submit the completed application.
5. Print two copies of the submitted form for record purposes.

Screening Fees

The following charges apply:

- ₦3,000 Portal Access Fee
- ₦2,000 Post-UTME Screening Fee

Payments can be made online via the Remita WebPAY platform using:

- MasterCard
- Verve Card
- Interswitch-enabled Cards

Important Information

- Applicants must ensure that all information provided is accurate and verifiable.
- Any candidate found submitting false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may face further sanctions.
- Fees paid by applicants who provide incorrect information will not be refunded.
- Candidates awaiting O'Level results may apply but are expected to upload their results within one week after release.
- Participation in the screening exercise is compulsory for admission consideration.

JAMB CAPS Requirement

UNIOSUN has stated that admission processing for the 2026/2027 session will be carried out through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

All applicants must upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS, as this is a compulsory requirement for admission processing.

Failure to do so may affect admission consideration.

Medical Examination

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a mandatory medical examination, including drug screening and other health-related assessments as prescribed by the university.

Registration Deadline

The online application portal will close by 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Applicants are advised to complete their registration early to avoid any last-minute challenges.

• Candidates will be charged for NIN and O'Level verification after registration.

• Candidates outside Nigeria are exempted from the Post-UTME screening test but will be screened after admission.
