The Institute equips young people to be biblical tentmakers who live out their God-given calling while transforming culture through Christ.
They are trained to share the Gospel with friends, disciple them in small groups, and plug them into the church.
Day 3 of GC3 in Lokoja was a beautiful reminder that the Great Commission is more than an assignment. It is a calling that must become a way of life.
Today, we got more tools for witnessing, learned how to make disciples, prepared the Tentmaker, and began thinking strategically about what it will take to see the Great Commission completed.
And somewhere between the lessons, the laughter, the games and the quiet moments of prayer, something deeper was happening. Young people were being reminded that God can use their lives, their skills and their stories to take the gospel further.
We are learning, praying, preparing and trusting God for the grace to go.
The mission is great. The harvest is plenty. And we are willing.

It was such a great learning at the feet of Jesus.
There are moments when you can almost feel a generation waking up.
Today was more than sessions, conversations, and activities. It was about hearts being stirred again by the word of God. Young people listening, wrestling, praying, discovering that the Gospel they have received is also a Gospel they are called to carry. Somewhere in these moments, God is shaping witnesses.
And perhaps years from now, we will look back at this little gathering in Lokoja and realise that something significant began here. The seed is being sown. The hearts are being prepared. The mission continues.
The Great Commission Challenge Camp 2026 has officially begun! 🙌🏽
The team from Jos arrived in Lokoja yesterday, and today the camp came alive! We were honoured to meet with the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Lokoja, and then we got straight into camp.
Young people are gathering.
Hearts are opening.
Friendships are forming.
God’s Word is being shared.
And the mission is taking shape.
The rest of our campers will be joining us early tomorrow morning, and we are expectant for all that God has in store.
This is more than a camp. This is about raising young people who know Christ, love His mission, and are ready to take the gospel wherever He sends them. And we are only getting started! Please pray for us as we journey through these days together.

Camp has Come to a Close, but Ministry Continues
As we bid each other farewell, a profound realization dawned on us about the enormity of God's calling on each of our lives. Yet, we were also filled with unwavering assurance that the One who calls us is faithful and will see us through.
We eagerly anticipate hearing the remarkable testimonies of what God will accomplish in and through these precious Teens. Please continue to pray fervently for each person who has accepted the Great Commission Challenge.
From our end, this is the prayer we offer for them: [9] And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, [10] so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; [11] being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; [12] giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. World Religions and Prayer for the World
This session teaches participants not merely to be aware of global events and religious beliefs across the world. It also leads them to pray for the salvation of the nations.
