GOVERNOR DAUDA LAWAL COMMISSIONS $200 MILLION ZAMFARA LITHIUM MINING PLANT
Governor Dauda Lawal has commissioned the $200 million Zamfara Lithium Mining and Processing Plant in Boko Village, Zurmi LGA, describing it as a major step toward industrial growth and economic transformation.
The project, a joint investment by ZAM Mining Company Ltd, Bima Mines Ltd, Jinlide Mining Co. Ltd, and other partners, is aimed at moving Zamfara beyond raw mineral extraction to local processing, value addition, job creation, and skills development.
Governor Lawal said sustainable development depends on efficient and transparent resource management and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to lawful mining, environmental protection, improved security, and creating an enabling environment for credible investors. He also directed the company to prioritize local employment, community development, corporate social responsibility, and skills transfer so that surrounding communities directly benefit from the investment.
Don't give up because the journey is hard. The strongest people are those who keep moving, one step at a time, until they reach their destination.
Stand up and go out to build your own future. Whether you are a married woman or an unmarried woman, never underestimate your potential. Work hard, learn new skills, and pursue opportunities with determination. Your success is not defined by your marital status but by your courage, dedication, and perseverance. Believe in yourself, stay focused, and keep moving forward. Your future is in your hands.
Remember Allah loves you for trying, not for being perfect.
Your safety is of utmost importance wherever
you go.
What happened to that woman in Kaduna State was truly horrific and completely unacceptable. No one should be subjected to mob justice. Every person deserves a fair investigation and due process under the law, regardless of the allegations against them. Violence like this has no place in a just society.
