I am a passionate advocate for the socio-economic development of Okun Land.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of traveling across many communities within Okun Land. One thing stands out clearly: our land is richly blessed with fertile vegetation, hardworking people, and enormous untapped potential. The time has come for us to unite and harness these resources for the development of our people and our nation.

I believe that true leadership is measured by service and impact. I am therefore committed to giving back to my community through the knowledge, experience, and professional network I have built in the healthcare sector.

To achieve this, I am pleased to announce the commencement of the Okun Health and Education Development Initiative (OHEDI), a platform dedicated to improving healthcare, education, and human capital development across Okun Land.

As a first step, we shall engage ten (10) young volunteers to conduct a needs assessment of the General Hospitals in Isanlu, Iyara, and Kabba. The assessment will focus on identifying critical gaps in healthcare infrastructure, equipment, manpower, and service delivery, with the aim of developing practical intervention strategies.

The first ten interested and committed youths who indicate their willingness to participate will be selected for this assignment. At the conclusion of the exercise:

• Participants will receive recognition and rewards for their contribution.
• They will become pioneer members of the Okun Medical Mission Volunteers.
• They will have opportunities to participate in future healthcare outreach programmes, community development projects, and capacity-building initiatives.

This is more than a volunteer exercise; it is a call to service and an opportunity to become part of a movement that will shape the future of healthcare and education in Okun Land.

If you are passionate about community development and willing to contribute to a greater cause, kindly indicate your interest.

Together, we can build a healthier, more educated, and prosperous Okun Land.
