Badarawa Community Development Initiative

The Badarawa Community Development Initiative (BCDI) was advanced on the 1st of September 2013 by concerned youths and intellectuals who have the interest of the community at heart. Having realized the eminent dangers the community will face if its deteriorating condition is not checked, the youths felt it necessary to carry out proactive actions through identifying the many problems of the community and pulling resources to help solve them. Among the many problems identified in the society are the wayward attitudes of youths, poor level of education and enlightenment, idleness, poverty in many homes, drug addiction, violence and other forms of vices. The Initiative is a platform whose objectives are finding solutions to these ills facing the community,and advocating for/facilitating sustainable development to the community through enhancing community assets and Growing the capacity of local people, agencies and professionals that support community development.
