Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to open its ₦2.15 trillion Initial Public Offering (IPO) on September 14, offering 4.1 billion shares at ₦525 per share.

The minimum subscription is 10 shares, meaning potential investors can get started with ₦5,250.

According to Aliko Dangote, the goal is to make the refinery accessible to everyday Nigerians, giving them an opportunity to become shareholders rather than just customers.

The funds raised from the IPO are expected to support the refinery's expansion as it looks to increase its production capacity from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day.

However, Nigerians looking to invest are being advised to wait for the official subscription channels and avoid anyone on social media or WhatsApp claiming to offer early access to the shares.
