The KAP–SOPA Pan-African Filmmaking Bootcamp celebrated its grand graduation ceremony on September 18, 2026, at KAP Film Village and Resort in Igbojaye, Oyo State.

Organized in strategic partnership with SOPA (Republic of Benin), the intensive 12-week initiative empowered 20 young filmmakers through cultural exchange, rigorous training, and collaborative production across Benin, Lagos, and KAP Film Village.

The closing celebration brought together prominent cinema leaders, dignitaries, and creative pioneers to toast the graduation, present awards, and premiere three short films:
Miss Bébé — All Participants
Wale (Royal Eagle) — Jury Special Mention
Dji (Lynx) — Overall Best Film

The distinguished audience included Jean-Pierre Bekolo, Akintade Ogidan, Tunde Kelani, Sola Sobowale, Chioma Ude Femi Odugbemi, Virginie Besson-Silla, Keith Shiri, Jahman Oladejo Anikulapo, the Benin Consul General, VJ Adams, Ibrahim Chatta, Uche Agbo Aisha Lawal, paul adu akyeampong, Judith Audu-Foght, YEMI JOLAOSO, steve ayorinde, Oluseyi Asurf Amuwa alongside other key industry figures

Individual honors went to:
Gbaguidi Marama as Overall Best Creative Participant (Female)

Guidigan Ronel as Overall Best Creative Participant (Male).
