HOW TO GENERATE BUSINESS IDEAS

“The world has become a global village and
the internet is the village square.”

An old man lived alone in Idaho. He wanted to spade his
potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, Bubba,
who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a
letter to his son and described his predicament.

Dear Bubba,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to
plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be
digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles
would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.

Love, Dad.

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad,
For heaven's sake, dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I
buried the BODIES.

At 4A.M. the next morning, F.B.I. agents and local police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any
bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.

That same day
the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That's the best I could do
under the circumstances.

Love Bubba.

Funny, but insightful, the young man did not find it very
difficult at all to generate an idea to solve his father's problem
even though it was a deceptive idea.
As human being, we have
the unique potential of being able to generate ideas.

Ideas rule the world and if you look all around you, you will
realize that everything around you that makes life meaningful
and comfortable was all born out of ideas.

Even you as a
person was once an idea in the creator's mind, then an idea in
your parents' minds, and now a reality in the world.
There are things that exist today but were impossibility
yesterday, and there are things that look impossible today but
will be a reality tomorrow.

- Yesterday's idea is today's reality.

- Today's idea is tomorrow's reality.

Ideas are so powerful but only
those who take them serious
enough to act on them get the benefit. You may just be one idea
away from your breakthrough.

Principle: The potential of a thing is related to its source. This means wherever something comes from determines the potential it has.

The degree or potency of that potential can be measured by the demands made on it by the one who made it. Therefore, the potential or ability of a thing is determined by the purpose for which the creator, manufacturer or maker made it. Every product is designed and engineered by the manufacturer to fulfill its purpose. Therefore its potential is built in.

The purpose establishes the demands to be placed on the product, and the demands determine its potential.

THE ARK IN OUR GENERATION!

The same way Rome and Mecca were built into spiritual destinations that millions travel to yearly in search of God, that same vision is already rising here in Nigeria.

The Ark is not just a structure, it is a spiritual landmark, a place designed for encounters, for transformation, and for seeking God right on our own soil.

People spend millions traveling to Rome and Mecca believing they will meet God there. But the truth is, God is not confined to geography. If anything, what we have in Ota is a testimony that God is moving here too.

Let’s be honest—if this same Ark was built outside Nigeria, many of our leaders would organize delegations, spend public funds, and encourage citizens to travel there.

It would suddenly become “a global spiritual center.” But because it is here, we question it, we downplay it, we criticize it.

This is a pattern we must break.

Nigeria must learn to recognize, value, and preserve what God is doing within her borders.

We cannot keep celebrating what is foreign while neglecting what is ours. Spiritual hunger should not always require a visa.

The God people are seeking in Rome and Mecca is not far away. He is not limited by location. He is present, moving, and available right here in Ota.

If you truly seek God, you don’t have to cross continents. Sometimes, the answer is closer than you think.

bigger than the critics. He has given Nigeria a spiritual landmark to rival the world.

So, to the naysayers: stop applauding what is abroad while trying to destroy what God has placed at home. The God you are searching for in Rome and Mecca is already in Ota. Open your eyes, humble your heart, and recognize a miracle when it stands before you.
