Coloring LIVES

Hi, I'm Jessica.

I don't post here often, most times I genuinely don't know what to say. But this one felt too important to sit on.

In 2022, I started an NGO with a group of like minded individuals called Coloring Lives Foundation. Since then, we've run several community projects, but one in particular has become close to my heart; The Pad A Girl Campaign, which we launched in 2024.

We've had two successful editions in 2024 and 2025 and this October, in recognition of the International Day of the Girl Child, we're gearing up for our third.

Pad A Girl goes beyond distributing sanitary care kits. We sensitize girls on menstrual health and hygiene, sexual education, and sexual harassment and molestation, with a focus on supporting survivors of these grievous crimes. We're also introducing a short skills acquisition session this time around.

Our goal for 2026: Reach 500 girls across 5 schools in Lagos State.

This is our third year running, and we're hoping to create even greater impact than before but we can't do it alone.

And as usual, we are not only going to be giving out sanitary kits, we would also be talking to the girls on the importance of sexual health, menstrual hygiene and hygiene.
