Four years ago, Damilare Oshokoya and Jeffrey Ehikioya Itepu started Abode when the scoreboard read zero. Just two people and a mission that most would have called too big for the room it was born in to democratize wealth for Africans through real estate.

They did not need the scoreboard to believe. They had something far more powerful, a conviction that the future could look different. The kind of belief that does not wait for perfect conditions. The kind that shows up on the hard days, the uncertain days, and every single day in between.

Four years later, that belief has compounded into something beautiful. ✨

Cultural Day was never just about the attire. It was about pausing, in the middle of a big anniversary week, to remember who we are individually and collectively. Every fabric in that room represented a background, a heritage, a story and yet somehow, everyone in it felt like home.
