Okay, but can we talk about the NKA dress for a minute? 🥹
Because looking at this again has me wondering…
Should we bring her back?
Lately, I’ve been learning to take things one day at a time.
To show up, do the work, make beautiful things, take care of my clients, and build this dream without putting so much pressure on myself to have it all figured out.
This Thanksgiving order reminded me to be grateful for the little things you know… the work, the trust, the opportunity to create, and simply being here, still trying.
No rushing. No forcing.
Just showing up and doing my best. 💛

I started with the idea of making something easy, something you could wear, move in, live in, and still feel like yourself.
Then the colours happened. And suddenly, one dress had six different personalities.
This is the final look at the SW Boubou.
The pieces shown here are sample colour expressions. The dress is made to order, so you can choose your own colour combination and make it yours.

This one feels like sunshine. 💛🧡
It’s so Warm, cheerful and impossible to be unnoticed.
I just love how the burnt orange grounds the brightness of the orange. They just belong together.
I have a feeling this colourway is going to find someone who loves colour as much as I do.

I love creating pieces that become part of a woman’s real life.

I smiled the first time I saw this colourway finished.
There’s something so calm about it.
It doesn’t fight for attention, but somehow it keeps yours.
“She simply gets dressed and lets her presence speak.” That’s what I thought.

Behind every collection is a series of decisions.
As an independent designer building FUBI, I’ve learned that creativity isn’t only about what you make, it’s also about how you solve problems.
Rather than waiting until I could afford a full editorial campaign, I explored AI to help me visualize this design the way I imagined it.
The garments are real.
The craftsmanship is real.
The journey is real.
This is the original ghost mannequin photographs beside the editorial concepts they inspired.
Sometimes building a dream means using every tool available, while never compromising on the quality of what you create.
And for me, that’s something to be proud of.
