Shyllon Museum

We are pleased to welcome Charles Udeh, Curatorial Head and Museum Educator at the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), as a speaker at the Art for Hope Biennial opening panel. Through his curatorial and educational practice, Charles has helped position museums as spaces for dialogue, learning, and discovery. His work invites audiences to move beyond simply viewing artworks to understanding the ideas, materials, histories, and creative processes behind them. As we explore Rethinking Access Through Creative Education, Charles brings an institutional perspective on how museums can cultivate curiosity, deepen cultural literacy, and inspire lifelong engagement with the arts. Join us as we examine how access to culture can become access to learning, opportunity, and imagination. Opening Panel: Rethinking Access Through Creative Education Date:Saturday, 18 July 2026 Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Venue: The Art Hotel Gallery, Victoria Island, Lagos #ArtForHopeBiennial #ImaginationAsAccess #CreativeEducation #MuseumEducation #YSMA UwevwiStudios
