Waymaker Homes

A man once told his younger brother, “Never buy land where nobody is going.”

The younger brother ignored him and quietly bought a few plots in an area everyone called “too far.” Friends mocked him. Some even said he had wasted his savings.

For years, nobody talked about that location. No major activity. No attention. Just silence.

Then one day, development started moving gradually into the area — roads, businesses, new buildings, and investors began showing interest. Suddenly, the same people who mocked him started asking if there was still land available there.

His response was simple:
“You people only believe in opportunities after they become expensive.”

That conversation came back to my mind recently while looking at the growth happening around Global Citizens Estate, Mowo.

Sometimes the best investments are the ones people overlook first.
