Chapter 39

The whole class gasped while Pearl smirked as she watched Talia fall in a slow motion.

So unluckily for Talia she wore heels to school today and immediately she lost balance and she fell.

Pearl palm print could be seen clearly on her face and she could still hear that internal ringing in her ears.

But unfortunately for her, she couldn't answer the call.

Pearl hoovered above her. She looked at Talia who struggled to keep her eyes straight.

"Hey! Hey! How many am I pointing out?" Pearl asked as she pointed 5 fingers at her.

Talia's eyes were blurry but she still managed to see the 5 fingers. "Its five." She muttered.

"Yeah, cuz that's the number of fingers imprinted on your cheek." She then turned to the class. "She's fine. No one touches her until she gets up." she declared.

Sophie, Tori and Helen decided to intervene. "You do not have the right to tell us what to do—"

"Shut up." Damien's cold voice interrupted them and the girls kept quite.

"From now on, you will do as she says. Don't let me find out that your are doing the opposite, so else..."

Damien dropped the threat there.
His warning was final and they better don't go against it.

The 3 girls immediately trembled with fear.

"Yes my King."

They weren't happy about what he said but they had no other choice but to obey.

Pearl finally looked at her so called dad and rolled her eyes. "Come on Damien. Let's go outside and talk"

Everyone was stunned. Even Talia stirred awake. Pearl talked casually and impolitely with Damien and this was too shocking to everyone.

Some wondered why she wasn't already dead or being punished.

Pearl looked unfazed and stepped out of the class and Damien followed her.

Feeing too lazy to walk, she opened a portal and stepped in. Damien also went in with her and they appeared in an abandoned classroom.

Pearl used her magic to seal the entire place so that no-one would eavesdrop on their conversations.

She finally sat down and looked at Damien.

Damien looked at her deeply, not even breaking eye contact. "Why do you always do that?"

Pearl knew exactly what he was talking about. "You suddenly show up and expect me to call you dad" Pearl then laughed and maintained the eye contact.

"Get use to it. Your name is Damien and that's what I'm forever calling you. You wanted a daughter, well you got a wicked and stubborn one."

Damien chuckled. "Like father, like daughter." He muttered.

Pearl nearly glared at him but decided to calm down.

She remembered what Iris had told her, about the fact that she needed to give Damien a chance and she really hopes this works out.

"Why are you here?" Pearl asked.

"You refuse to keep in touch. I had to find you. You are my daughter so you need to know about your Kingdom."

Pearl looked at him. "So you want me back all because of your Kingdom." She scoffed.

"I don't mean it like that. You are my child and the last piece of memory from Anna. I won't lose you too." Damien muttered.

"Then why did you do it?" She asked.

"Tell me why you murdered my mom and wiped out the entire Pearl Kingdom?"

Damien didn’t respond. His fist clenched.

Pearl was lucky that Damien was her dad if not, the anger he was feeling right now could destroy anyone who came in contact with him.

"So you don't actually have an answer, no single excuse at all." Pearl turned away. "I'm disappointed."

Damien sighed as he unclenched his fist. He truly had no explanation for what he did.

He was young and all he thought about was the throne and pleasing his father.

He loved Anna but the throne was his main priority at that time. And right now he truly regretted what he did.

"Pearl I—" King Damien was immediately interrupted by Pearl.

"I'll try to accept you. Not because I want to but... because of my friend and my sister."

Then she looked at him. "I'm given you a chance, so don't blow it. Just remember that I'm only talking to you because of my friend... who by the way might die tomorrow"

"Why is she dieing?" Damien asked. He was curious about the person who could convince Pearl to talk to him.

Pearl almost regretted what she said but she might still need his help if she wants to save Iris.

"She's traumatized and sometimes hurt herself and others. They are taking her to an old fairy tomorrow to cure her. She might lose her soul in the process." Pearl didn’t even know when sniff.

She quickly stopped and acted normal.

Damien looked at her and said. "Ask for my help if you want."

Pearl almost rolled her eyes but she truly needed his help. So she turned to him and bent her head low but fierce her eyes were still connected with his.

"Damien I need your help to save my friend. I'll be grateful if you helped me."

King Damien finally stood up, adjusting his black cloak. "I will assist you if you agree to come home and I mean with me."

Pearl finally rolled her eyes.

"Impossible"

"Then I will talk to you later." He began to walk away then turned back to Pearl.

"Just know that I can bring you back if I want. I just want to be patient with you. Take your time my child."

With that he walked away. Pearl scoffed in disbelief.

•In an abandoned forest•

Irene was seen sitting down in front of a cave in the forest. She tried to look around for any light but there was none.

Only blinding darkness.

The only place that light came from was behind her inside the cave. She didn't dare enter that place.

She held tightly a bottle, the exact one that contained Iris's blood.

She came here to take Iris's powers with her blood. She decided to come here earlier because she heard that they were removing Iris's magic the next day.

She's been waiting outside for almost half an hour and didn't dare enter the cave. The person who wanted to give her the power warned her not to come in.

Irene sighed as she looked at Xavier Lee. "Any news from them?"

"I went to school today and Iris didn't come. Must be because you told Kingston her secret yesterday."

Irene nodded. "So true. Don't worry when I take her power I'll give you yours Xavier Lee. No one will look down on us ever again."

Xavier Lee nodded and instantly a woman came from inside the cave.

"Irene you are next. Come inside." The woman went back into the cave.

Irene got up. Still clutching the bottle, she followed the woman inside.

•Iris's bedroom•

Pearl stepped out of the portal and looked around the room.

Iris wasn’t there.

"Iris." She called "Iris!" She called louder but she was no where to be found.

Pearl began looking everywhere in the entire house for her.

So she actually agreed to what Damien said. It was just to come back with him, nothing else.

And Iris was her friend and she would do anything for her.

Damien gave her something to give Iris which would heal her and he also sneaked her out of the school.

Well Pearl wouldn't even call it 'sneaked' He was a king and could do whatever he wished.

And don't forget, she's also a princess.

Pearl searches the entire house but there was no sign of Iris nether Siren nor their parents.

Pearl began to get worried and she went back to Iris's room.

She sat down on the bed for a while and soon became to notice a faint scent of magic.

It was a location spell.

'Maybe Iris had used it on herself, but what happened?" Pearl wondered.

She grabbed her bag from the bed and brought out her spell book.

She opened to a particular page and began reading out the content.

It was a replay spell.

Pearl was curious to know what happened while she was gone, so she needed to do some magic.

Pearl moved and sat down in the middle of the bed, legs crossed.

She began to read recite the spell from the book again. She couldn't even pronounce some words and almost brought out her phone to ask for the pronunciation.

After managing to get the words she began to read them out.

"Erêh dèňépąh Iris ţāhw yăļpër" she began to repeat these words over and over again.

She sentence more fierce than the last.

This was her first time trying this spell so she really hoped it worked.

Finally, a very bright white light shone on Pearl's eyes.

She could see everything clearly.

She saw the way Iris lay on the bed and then her parents came in and forcefully took her away.

In other to stop them, Pearl got up and everyone disappeared. Everything went back to normal.

Pearl glared hard at the empty spot where she had seen Iris's parents. She was truly going to make them pay for what they did.

Pearl traced the location spell to where Iris was.

She grabbed her phone and began typing on it.

Sent.

She grabbed her spellbook and placed it inside her bag. She then opened a portal and went in.

Chapter 38

•Special Class•

Kayden opened the door to his special class and went in with Pearl.

Luckily lectures hadn't started yet.

As he sat down on the chair, he made sure Pearl was sitting on his laps.

His hands still remained on her waist as he closed his eyes and inhaled slowly.

Pearl shivered when she felt his breath around his neck. She couldn't even push him away, she fully loved what he was doing.

There was a comforting silence between them. No one wanted to bring up what just happened few minutes ago.

Pearl's phone vibrated and she pulled it out of her pocket. It was a message from Kayla.

_Omg! what you guys did was so cool and awesome👌 The kiss 💥💯 I really do have this feeling that you have a crush on my twin_

_Remember our bet so you better prove me wrong. I know you're with Kayden right now, I'll leave you two alone 😉_

Pearl gave a low laugh at the message but didn't reply. She would talk to Kayla later.

She kept her phone back and sighed heavily. "So... uh... how did you get your powers back?"

She honestly didn't want to talk about the kiss. Most especially with the fact that she could still feel the heat on her cheeks.

It took a while for Kayden to answer. "I just got lucky and one week is already completed but I'm still staying here today."

"Okay." Pearl said with a nod. She truly didn't know what to talk about.

"Then I should leave you. Your teachers are coming soon anyways." She finally said.

She tried to get up from his laps but Kayden's grip on her waist pulled her back down.

This time her hands went to his shoulders and she gazed at his perfect face.

Geez!

She swallowed nothing as she continued staring at him. Her breathing increased drastically.

Kayden also stared at her, then slowly his thumb lifted up and brushed a part of her lips.

His arms wrapped around her waist as he pulled her closer.

"Uh.. Kayden..."

His lips were faster than her words. He kissed him like an hungry mad man , pouring out all the passion in her into it.

He grabbed her neck and pulled her entire body on to himself.

He kissed her more savagely.

He sweetly devoured her lips and tongues, stealing every gasps and moans created by that sweet voice.

"Kayden..." Pearl said through the kiss and kissed him back.

She closed her eyes , feeling the burning intensity of the kiss.

She's slowly going out of breath but she doesn't want the kiss to end.

He finally pulled away giving her time to breath , he smiled as he stared at her flushed cheeks and swollen pretty lips.

So pretty.

So gorgeous.

And he was sure going to make her his.

His intense eyes met her soft ones.

He gave a low smirk.

"From now on Pearl you're mine." He growled.

•Boys Restroom•

White stood in front of the mirror, eyes piecing through it.

All his mind was filled with how Kayden kissed Pearl and the worst part was that Pearl responded.

He wasn't even angry at Pearl. All his anger was directed at Kayden.

It was his fault for even existing.

The kiss kept playing over and over in his head. He thought maybe their relationship wasn't real but now he had met the shock of his life.

Kayden even humiliated him in front of the whole school.

If that wasn't frustrating enough then what was?

White then angrily smashed his fist on the mirror. It shattered violently and shards sprayed everywhere.

Blood dripped down his fingers but his magic quickly took action to heal them.

He wondered how on earth Kayden even got his powers back. He thought he was powerless but guess he wasn't.

White stepped away from the mirror and turned around.

He gasped in shock when he saw someone staring at him from the door.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

Lily shrugged. "Just wanted to ally with you."

"This is a male's restroom." He stated.

Lily shrugged again. "Who cares?"

White scoffed as he walked past her, deliberately hitting her shoulder and walked out.

Lily followed.

White paused and turned to her. "What do you want?"

"Let's work together to get what... I meant who we want."

White looked at her up and down. "And why should I work with you?"

"Because I want Kayden and you want Pearl. Its 50-50. We'll separate them and take back what's finally ours."

Lily then brought out her hand. "Are you in?" She asked.

White looked at her hand for a few seconds before he finally nodded. "I'm in."

He didn't even bother to shake her hand and instead just walked away.

Lily instantly followed him. "I have a plan but if we need it to work then we need a stupid person to help us"

"And who's the stupid person that would help us?"

Almost immediately, Talia walked past them. It was like the universe heard what they were saying.

Lily smiled as she looked at Talia who was walking away.

"Target found."

•Hallway•

Pearl hurriedly walked to her class. She was almost late all because of Kayden.

Well she's couldn't blame him, she also kissed him back but for just today, let him take the blame.

She didn't want to open a portal because of the blush on her face. It needed to disappear fast and nobody should see it. Luckily students were already in their classes.

As Pearl was walking she caught sight of Arianna who also saw her.

Arianna didn't even wait, she rushed to Pearl and began inspecting her body. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you? Did he touch you?"

"What are you talking about?" Pearl asked confused.

"Silver told me everything."

Pearl sighed. "Don't worry I'm fine. Luckily Kayden and Kayla were there to save me."

Arianna nodded then hugged her. "Why don't you just come back home?" She asked.

Pearl pulled away. "Didn't mom tell you anything?"

Arianna sighed. "She told me this morning. I was very angry and left but... you should still come back. Just talk with mom."

Pearl nodded. "I already plan on doing that today, don't worry I'll come back home."

Arianna smiled and began ruffling her hair. "Come on, I'll take you to your class."

She linked arms with Pearl and they began talking.

"So... I heard about your boyfriend. He kissed you in front of the whole school."

"Arrggh stop. He's just my fake boyfriend." Pearl stated.

"But you have a crush on him right?" Arianna asked.

Pearl gave a cheeky smile and nodded. "Yes but don't tell anyone."

Arianna began to laugh as they walked together.

Pearl entered her class and luckily the teacher came late.

As she was going to her sit, she noticed some students gathering around someone and some looking at her.

'Why are they looking at me?'_she wondered.

Pearl decided to sit on Iris's chair since it was behind her's. She didn't want to sit with White because he was her sit mate.

As she settled on her sit, she noticed that someone looked back and began staring at her.

Pearl raised her head up and saw Talia. She gave Pearl this 'I am back' gaze.

Pearl rolled her eyes. Clearly this girl wasn't ready to give up annoying her. Pearl also wasn't ready to give up on her.

Pearl paid less attention to Talia and brought out some books from her bag.

She noticed that she didn’t have her witch spell book. Well Iris didn't have it because she was a fairy and a demon.

So she decided to go to the library to see if she could find any spare there. Or maybe even ask her sister.

She got up from the chair and began walking towards the front of the class.

Talia whose sit was at the front saw Pearl coming. She smiled as she deliberately placed her foot on the way.

She then pretended to be talking to her friends.

Pearl who didn't see the foot walked into it and stumbled. Her whole body came down and she fell.

"And the lady almighty has fallen." Talia teased and the whole class laughed.

Pearl glared hard at her. She was so lucky that she was quick to hold some desks or else, maybe she might have injured.

Pearl stood up and looked angrily at Talia and her stupid friends.

Were they ever satisfied? Can’t they just leave her alone for once? Once!

Talia looked mockingly at Pearl. "Oh and what are you going to do? Nothing right? Because if you fight again then you would be suspended."

Pearl knew this was her weakness but that didn't mean that she would tolerate them bullying her.

"Do you like attention so much?" Pearl asked and Talia looked at her confused.

"Because I can actually rip out your skirt again." Pearl then broke into a smile. "Remember when I did it the last time?"

The whole class burst into laughter. Even Talia's friends were giggling inwardly.

Meanwhile Talia's face turned grey. Oh she clearly remembered that day. The video went around and everyone was laughing at her.

That was even the reason she hadn't come to school for a long time.

"Pearl you crazy bitch! Shut your stupid mouth!" Talia yelled as got up and tried to slap Pearl.

Pearl was quick and held her hand. "Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" She asked.

"Your friends are even laughing at you.I don't pity you, instead I pity the people who call you their daughter. They don't know that their raising a disgrace."

That did it.

Talia got so angry and used all her strength to push Pearl to the floor.

Pearl couldn't dodge on time and fell on the floor, again.

Pearl wasn't going to allow this to happen again for the third time.

Talia then walked closer to Pearl, her eyes full of evil and anger.

"I'm going to make you pay Pearl. You almost disfigured my face with that silver water and I'm going to make sure I—"

Talia immediately kept quite when she felt a strong presence.

It felt dangerously intimidating.

Even Pearl felt it and immediately knew that only one person had this aura.

Only one very powerful king.

She turned her head to look and right there stood the person looking at her.

"Damien..." she muttered.

Talia and almost everyone regained themselves and bowed their heads down. "Your Majesty" they all greeted.

Everyone knew about the mighty and powerful King Damien. Most especially the vampires. He was the only dangerous and fearsome King of all times.

Everyone who knew him bowed but if you didn't, you would still bow because his presence would still be able to make you do just so.

Only Pearl remained on the floor glaring visibly at Damien for coming to her school.

"What happened?" Damien asked and Talia took the initiative to talk.

"My king, its just that she fell and I was trying to—"

"I wasn't talking to you." His eyes then met Pearl who was still on the floor. "I was talking to her."

Talia swallowed nothing and tried to calm herself. She turned to Pearl waiting for an answer.

Pearl gently stood up, dusting her hands and asked instead. "Why are you stalking me Damien?"

Talia and the whole class gasped. How dare Pearl call a king directly by his name.

Damien ignored it. He was already familiar with this side of Pearl. "I asked you a question." He said instead.

Pearl rolled her eyes, placing her hands in herself pockets. "She pushed met to the floor all because I called her a disgrace, which is true by the way."

Talia openly scoffed and Damien turned to her.

"Is that true?" He asked.

Talia didn't know if she should lie or say the truth. Wasn't King Damien suppose to be questioning Pearl? Why did he suddenly turn to her?

"Don't waste my time." Damien said in a firm voice.

Talia got herself back and slowly nodded. "Yes, my king."

"Then what are you waiting for. For what she did slap her."

Talia looked at Damien suprise. Did he just give her permission to slap Pearl?

'OMG!! I love my king.'

She practically screamed this sentence in her head over and over again.

Yay!

"Yes my King." Talia answered and turned to Pearl who stood there nonchalantly. As if waiting to see if she could really do it.

Talia raised her hand but Damien's voice cut her off. "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to her."

His eyes went to Pearl who smiled and Talia's face cracked.

Pearl walked closer to Talia, her smile as sweet as poison. "My pleasure"

Talia's eyes widened as she tried to speak but Pearl shut her up. "Shhh this will only take a second. Promise."

Talia still tried to protest. "But... I... I don't under—"

SLAP!

Pearl's palm kissed Talia's face and she did a 360⁰ rotation.

Pearl had a headphone on her head as she talked with Kayla. It was Kayla who had called her earlier.

[So you need to come in with Kayden for everyone most especially White to believe that you two are dating.]

"Okay fine but I'm already in school. Where are you guys?" Pearl asked.

"Right behind you."

Pearl heard the voice through the headphone but it wasn't Kayla's.

Suddenly, Pearl felt a hand on her shoulder. Her reflex mode came on and immediately she swung a punch to the person behind her.

She had been a little bit overprotective of herself since what had happened yesterday.

Kayden who was behind her quickly held her fist. "Easy babe." he said.

On seeing that it was him Pearl sighed. "Sorry. I've become suddenly overprotective of myself...... Wait! What did you just call me?"

"Babe or do you want me to call you something else?" Kayden asked but before Pearl could reply he pulled her into his chest.

"Missed you babe" Kayden muttered and immediately Pearl felt her heartbeat increased.

Kayla who was behind them couldn't help but smile. She quickly took a picture of them and posted it.

"Awwn you guys look so cute together." Kayla complimented and Pearl felt a blush on her face.

She quickly pulled away from Kayden and looked at him. "W...why did you do that?" She asked.

"Aren't we dating? So I need to make it real. Students outside needs to see us first" Kayden said still holding her hand.

"Guess you're right but remember it's fake. Well are you ready fake boyfriend?" Pearl asked.

Kayden suddenly bent down and whispered in her ear. "We both know that you want this thing to be real"

Pearl gasped as she looked at him. _'How did he know?'_ she wondered.

Kayden smirked seeing her reaction.

Pearl then also stood on her toes and whispered in his ear. "Or maybe it's you who wants it to be real?"

She stood still and also smirked at him.

Kayla instantly cleared her throat and both Kayden and Pearl looked at her.

"I don't actually care if you guys are ready. Let's just go and show the world how sweet you two are and BTW Pearl, you're sharing lockers with my twin" Kayla announced with a happy grin as she began to lead them inside.

"Let's go girlfriend." Kayden's hand went around Pearl's waist as he pulled her closer to himself.

Pearl smiled in her head and hoped this thing could last forever even if it was fake.

Like they say, fake it till you make it.


The whole hallway was crowded. Students were on there phones but all of them were looking at the same thing.

The picture Kayla posted on Kayden and Pearl.

In less than a minute the picture already had 10k views. That was how popular Kayla was.

The whole school were wondering how Pearl and Kayden became a thing, because after he broke up with Lily he never dated anyone again.

But it wasn't much of a surprise to them because Kayden had danced with Pearl and ignored Lily at the party.

Meanwhile Lily was fuming. The phone in her hands almost cracked. To make it worst, some girls were right behind her back, gossiping about her.

"So Kayden is now dating Pearl. Guess Lily is now old news" A girl said.

"I like Kayden and don't want anyone to be with him but I'm glad that Pearl's dating him. At least it teaches Lily a lesson, she's so full of herself." Another girl said.

"One time during that party, I was there when Kayden told her to f**k off. It was so humiliating."

The girls immediately burst into laughter.

Lily instantly turned to look at them, her eyes dark. The girls saw her and instantly shut up.

Just immediately everyone began rushing forward while whispering "They are here." You don't need to be told before you know who they were talking about.

Kayden and Pearl walked together, Kayden hands on her waist while smirking and Pearl, trying to get use to all the attention.

Students cleared the path for them. Some took pictures, some whispered among themselves, while others like Lily were fuming.

"Is this how it feels to be popular?" Pearl asked Kayden.

"Better get use to it babe" he replied.

Pearl looked at him. "Since when did my name become babe?"

"Since you became my girlfriend"

Pearl rolled her eyes but smiled secretly. But unfortunately the smile didn't last long as suddenly White came and stood right in front of her.

Pearl immediately paused and a hint of fear flashed in her eyes. She was still very wary of him.

White immediately dragged Pearl away from Kayden. "We need to talk." he said.

Pearl flinched and tried to move away but White wouldn't leave her alone.

As Pearl was about to push White away, a cold and distant voice was heard.

"Let. Her. Go."

It was chilling, dangerous and final.

White paused and looked at Kayden. "And who made you the boss of me?"

Kayden chuckled placing his hands in his pockets. "You have 2 seconds."

By this time, almost the whole school was here. Phones out, recording each moment.

White scoffed but didn't let go of Pearl. "You think you scare me, you're just a—"

Boom!

Kayden's fist resetted White's face.

Everyone gasped in shock.

White instantly fell down. He felt blood dripping down his nose.

He was seriously seeing stars.

He staggered and managed to get up. He tilted his head backwards and began wiping the blood off his nose.

Kayden stood there, casually looking at his fist.

Pearl who was already free quickly went and stood beside Kayden.

"Thanks" she muttered to Kayden who only nodded.

White finally gained himself and glared at Kayden. Then suddenly his gaze shifted to Pearl.

"So you actually left me for this thing. Pearl! I loved you but instead you went with him. Why?" He yelled.

Pearl didn't even wait for Kayden to defend her. She walked toward White and looked at him defiantly.

"You are nothing but a pathetic coward." She muttered. "I hate you Sky. If you actually liked me then you wouldn't have done what you did yesterday."

White's glare drastically increased. Unconsciously he pulled Pearl to his chest.

Kayden reacted first.

He grabbed Pearl's hand while White held the other one.

Now this caused the whole crowd a chilling tension. Everyone was shocked to see both Kayden and White fighting over Pearl.

🗣_Oh my gosh, the two hottest guys are fighting over Pearl._

🗣_She isn't even worth it. They should fight over me instead._

🗣_Who do you think will have her?_

🗣_Obviously it's Kayden. He's way more handsome._

That last comment did something to White and immediately his eyes changed colour.

White.

He gazed at Kayden, causing psychic pain to his mind.

But instead of pain Kayden stood there nonchalantly.

White paused, looking suprised at Kayden. "How...?" He remembered that his ability worked yesterday so why wasn't it working now.

Unless...

Kayden smirked finally pulling Pearl to his chest. "Just give me a minute babe." He whispered to her.

Pearl smiled, her fingers going through his hair. "Go get him babe."

She stood on her toes and kissed his cheek then winked. She left his side and stood behind him.

Kayden walked closer to White, hands in his pockets. "Let's do this my way"

Before anyone could react, White instantly fell on the floor.

Kayden looked down at him, eyes shining red.

Bloody red.

"Aargg!!" White screamed in terror. What he was going through right now was way worse than hell.

"Stop! Stop! Stop!" He yelled, tears spilling down his face.

He began banging the floor, pulling his hair. Anything to end this torture.

He was completely losing it.

Meanwhile Kayden smiled as he looked at him. "Pathetic soul. You deserve to rot in hell."

"Please I'm sorry. Let me go." White begged. He felt completely hopeless.

Even his magic was useless.

Kayden then began to laugh, his eyes going darker.

When he was about to reach the climax of things, he felt someone hold him.

That soft touch. Calming and the only thing that kept him sane.

Pearl.

Instantly all the darkness in his eyes reduced. He calmed down but still had that dangerous aura.

"Its okay Kayden." Pearl said as she continued holding him.

If he kept this up he might have actually killed White.

She was curious about how he got his powers back but now wasn't the right time.

"He isn't worth it. Let's leave him." Even if Pearl hated White, she wasn't heartless.

He was her former best friend. For the sake of that she would let him be this time.

Initially Kayden was mad that Pearl had to stop him. _Why should she save this pathetic bastard?_

But he couldn't bring himself to stay mad at her, especially with the fact that she was holding him.

He just dragged her closer, her scent the only thing keeping him sane. His hand circled possessively around her waist.

_'What the hell are you doing to me Pearl?'_ he wondered.

White simply glared at Kayden in tears. Kayden's eyes went back to him and he smirked.

Almost instantly he crashed his lips into Pearl’s.

The whole school gasped. Everyone was running wild. _Most especially Kayla though_

She was literally screaming.

Pearl was shocked and confused but her mind didn't even register that.

Instead her hands went around his neck and pulled him closer. She kissed him like never before.

White practically died and resurrected.

The shock was too much. He almost felt like killing Kayden right there and right now but he couldn't do anything.

In fact if glares could kill then maybe Kayden would have been six feet under the ground.

On seeing White's reaction, Kayden finally pulled away from the kiss.

He continued holding Pearl’s waist as he looked dangerously at White.

"Stay away from her. Or else..."

He left his threat hanging there. White could figure out the rest for all he cares.

He doesn't give a f**k.

He used his feet to kick White out of the way. Then slowly he began walking away with Pearl.
