Let me explain this because many content creators misunderstand it.

If your Facebook monetisation was not active when you received those views, you should not expect Facebook to pay you retroactively for those past views.

For example 👇

📌 You got 500,000 views before monetisation → those past views generally don't become payable later.

📌 Your monetisation gets approved today → from this point, eligible/qualified views on your monetised content may start contributing to your earnings.

📌 And remember: NOT EVERY VIEW = MONEY.

Facebook determines which views are eligible to generate earnings.

💡 The good news?

Those old viral videos are not necessarily useless! If people continue watching them after your monetisation becomes active, the new eligible views they receive can potentially contribute to your earnings.

So don't just chase views…
