Sometimes, you look around and it feels like everyone is moving ahead while you are still trying to figure things out. Someone is getting married, someone is building a house, someone is starting a business, someone is achieving the dreams you have been praying about for years.

And suddenly, you begin to wonder, “What am I doing wrong?”

But here is your reality check: YOUR JOURNEY IS NOT A COMPETITION.

You don't have to arrive at the same time as everyone else. Life doesn't give everybody the same starting point, opportunities, resources, or timing. What looks like delay may simply be a different process.

Stop measuring your life with another person's timeline. You are not behind. You are becoming.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep praying. Keep working. Keep believing.

Your chapter may look different from theirs, but that doesn't mean your story won't be beautiful.

Your time is not over. Your journey is still unfolding.

There are some moments in prayer when you can’t quite explain what is happening within you—you just know that something is different.

That was me this morning.

While in our devotion, thanking God for yet another new month and appreciating Him deeply for bringing me into this golden season of my life, I felt that familiar burden again—the grace to sincerely pray for Nigeria came upon us.

And I honestly can’t shake what I felt.

I don’t know who else feels the way I feel, but deep within me, I sense that something extraordinary is happening concerning Nigerians.

I see rest where there has been weariness.
I see freedom where there has been limitation.
I see hope rising where many have almost given up.
I see families breathing again.
I see people having reasons to smile, rejoice, and give God thanks.

I may not be able to explain everything I feel, but I believe something is shifting.

May the prayers we are raising today become the testimonies of tomorrow.

Nigeria, may your season of REST come! 🇳🇬🔥
May your season of FREEDOM come!
May your season of PEACE come!

And may God give us the grace to witness and celebrate the Nigeria we have prayed for. 🙏🇳🇬

𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨

Sometimes, growth comes with a painful truth: you cannot take everyone with you into the person you are becoming.

Some people only know the version of you that was struggling—the one without boundaries, the one who was always available, the one who tolerated too much just to keep the peace.

But growth changes you.

You begin to understand that 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵. 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗱.

Some people will complain that you have changed.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱.

You have learned.
You have healed.
You have matured.
You have discovered your worth.
You have realized that your peace is valuable.

Don't let guilt make you reopen doors that 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲.

You don't have to hate people to outgrow them.
You don't have to fight people to create distance.
And you don't owe everyone an explanation for the boundaries you set.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Some people had access to the old version of you because you didn't know better. Now that you know better, 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗢 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥.

Walk into this new season with wisdom.
Protect what God is building in you.
Guard your peace.
Honor your growth.
And never apologize for becoming a better version of yourself.

There are seasons when prayer alone isn't enough, and hustle alone isn't enough. You need both.

Pray like everything depends on God, but work like your hands have a responsibility to carry the answer.

Ask God for open doors, but when they open, be ready to walk through them.

Don't just pray for opportunities—prepare yourself for them. Pray for financial breakthrough, but also learn, improve, create, connect, and take action.

Prayer gives you direction. Hustle gives your faith movement.

When the pressure increases, pray harder. Work smarter.

Your breakthrough may require faith in your heart and action in your hands.

For two days now, I couldn’t move, I couldn’t reach out, and I couldn’t even create my content. Everything was practically put on hold.

The accident around the Kara area of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway affected everything and everybody. Movement was disrupted, businesses suffered, people were stranded, and countless families were worried about their loved ones.

And then tomorrow, a governor somewhere will say, “People can live without government.”

As how na? 😔

The truth is, people may survive without many things, but government exists because people need leadership, infrastructure, security, and systems that make everyday life work.

You will need the people during elections. You will ask for their votes, support and trust. But after the elections, you turn around and tell them they can live without you?

Leadership is not only about winning elections; it is about being present when the people need you most.

Because when the roads fail, the people suffer.
When infrastructure fails, the economy suffers.
When systems fail, everybody feels it.

Leadership should never disappear after the ballot boxes are gone.
