TUESDAY, 28TH JULY, 2026

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐍 𝐆𝐎𝐃'𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."
📖 Matthew 4:4

Just as food nourishes and strengthens your physical body, the Word of God nourishes your spirit. Every time you spend time reading and meditating on Scripture, your faith is strengthened. Faith does not grow by chance, it grows as God's Word fills your heart.
Imagine eating one good meal and expecting it to sustain you for weeks. That would be impossible. Your body needs fresh nourishment every day. In the same way, your spirit cannot thrive on yesterday's Bible reading or last Sunday's sermon alone. You need a fresh encounter with God's Word daily.

Think about a lemon. If you picture cutting it open and biting into it, you may almost taste its sharpness, and your mouth may even begin to water. Yet, no matter how vivid the image is, your body receives no nourishment because you haven't actually eaten the lemon.
The same principle applies to God's Word. Simply remembering a verse is not enough. We must continually open our Bibles, read, meditate, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us through the Scriptures.
Often, you may come across a passage you have read many times before, but suddenly the Holy Spirit illuminates it in a fresh way. That familiar verse becomes the exact answer, encouragement, or direction you need for your present situation. This is one of the blessings of consistently feeding on God's Word.
While the Word hidden in your heart will sustain you, your faith remains vibrant when you continue to spend time in prayer and immerse yourself in Scripture. Daily fellowship with God keeps your spirit refreshed and your faith strong.
Don't depend on yesterday's spiritual nourishment. Open God's Word today, feast on it, and allow Him to strengthen your faith for whatever lies ahead.

Today, I choose to feast on the Word of God and not live on yesterday’s spiritual experience. God’s Word is life to me, strength to my spirit, and wisdom for every decision I make.

MONDAY, 27TH JULY, 2026

𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑

Jesus and the Priesthood of Melchizedek Yet the One these things all point to, was from a different tribe and no one from that tribe ever officiated at God’s altar,
] for we all know that our Lord didn’t descend from the tribe of Levi, but shined from the tribe of Judah. And Moses himself never said anything of a priest in connection with Judah’s tribe.
📖 Hebrews 7:13-14

Under the Old Covenant, only descendants of Levi could serve as priests. It was a law established by God, and no one from another tribe could approach the altar in that capacity. Yet Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, the tribe of kings, not priests. By human standards, He had no legal claim to the priesthood.
So why is Jesus our High Priest?
Because His priesthood is not based on human ancestry but on God's eternal appointment. He is a priest after the order of Melchizedek, whose priesthood was greater than and existed before the Levitical priesthood. Jesus is both King and Priest forever.

This is wonderful news for us. Our salvation does not rest on human traditions, family background, or religious systems. It rests on the finished work of Christ, the eternal High Priest who continually intercedes for us before the Father.
Perhaps you feel disqualified because of your past, your family, or your limitations. Remember that God is not restricted by human expectations. The same God who established Jesus as our eternal High Priest can also call, qualify, and use anyone who yields to Him.
Jesus' priesthood guarantees that we always have access to God's presence. We do not need another mediator because our perfect High Priest lives forever and never ceases to represent us before the Father.

SUNDAY, 26TH JULY, 2026
𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄, 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐘𝐑
"Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God."
📖 1st Peter 3:18
Many people speak of Jesus as though He were merely a martyr, a good man who died for what He believed. While He certainly suffered unjustly, the Bible presents His death as something far greater. Jesus did not die simply because wicked men hated Him. He died as our Substitute.
A martyr dies because of loyalty to a cause. A substitute dies in the place of another. The death of Jesus was not an unfortunate tragedy; it was God's predetermined plan for our redemption.
Isaiah prophesied this centuries before Christ came: "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities... and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:5–6).
At Calvary, Jesus took the punishment that belonged to us. The wrath our sins deserved fell on Him so that mercy could be extended to us. He became our sin bearer, satisfying the demands of God's justice. As Paul wrote, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2nd Corinthians 5:21).
If Jesus were only a martyr, His death would inspire us but could never save us. Martyrs can motivate people to stand for truth, but they cannot remove guilt, forgive sins, or reconcile sinners to God. Only a substitute could accomplish that. Jesus died in our place so that we could receive eternal life in His place.

SATURDAY, 25TH JULY, 2026

𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃

“So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.”
📖 Philippians 4:8 (TPT)

Your life will often move in the direction of your thoughts. Before an action is committed, it is first conceived in the mind. This is why the enemy fiercely battles for our thoughts. If he can control what occupies your mind, he can influence your words, your choices, and ultimately your destiny.
Paul gives believers a divine filter for their thinking. He doesn't merely tell us to stop thinking negatively; he instructs us to deliberately focus on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, kind, and worthy of praise. The Christian mind is not meant to be a dumping ground for fear, bitterness, lust, anxiety, gossip, or hopelessness. It is meant to be a sanctuary where God's truth dwells.
Notice that this is intentional. Paul says, "keep your thoughts continually fixed." It requires discipline. Every day we must choose what we allow into our hearts through our eyes, ears, conversations, and media consumption. If we continually feed on negativity, we should not be surprised when our faith weakens. But when we fill our minds with God's Word and meditate on His faithfulness, peace begins to rule our hearts.

A mind fixed on God produces a life filled with peace. Gratitude replaces complaining. Faith overcomes fear. Hope triumphs over despair. The battlefield is the mind, but through Christ, victory is possible.
Today, examine your thought life. Ask yourself: What has occupied my mind lately? Does it draw me closer to Christ or farther from Him?

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of a renewed mind. I fix my mind on whatever is true, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. My thoughts glorifies you and produces peace. Amen.

𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄, 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒

"One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want."
📖 Proverbs 11:24

When finances become tight, one of the first things people consider cutting is their giving. From a human perspective, that seems sensible. Yet God's kingdom operates on principles that often differ from human reasoning.
Proverbs 11:24 teaches that generosity is not merely an act of kindness; it is an expression of faith. Those who trust God continue to give even when circumstances are challenging because they believe He is their ultimate source, not their bank account.
This does not mean giving recklessly or expecting instant financial returns. Rather, it means refusing to let fear dictate your decisions. A heart that clings tightly to possessions often reveals a lack of trust in God's provision, while a generous heart declares confidence in His faithfulness.
Throughout Scripture, God consistently honors those who give with sincere hearts. He promises to supply our needs (Philippians 4:19), loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and assures us that generosity brings blessing in ways that extend beyond material wealth.

If you are facing financial pressure today, don't allow fear to close your hand. Ask God for wisdom, continue to be faithful in your giving, and trust Him to provide according to His perfect timing and purpose. As you place your confidence in Him rather than your circumstances, you will discover that His provision is always sufficient.

Father, thank you for being my Provider. Help me to trust You even when resources seem limited. Deliver me from fear of lack and teach me to be generous . Amen!!!!
