Why Does My Wife Want It Every Single Day?
I got married just two weeks ago, and honestly, I never imagined my life would change this much.
Right after our wedding, my wife took three days off work, and those three days were nothing short of intense. Romance became part of every moment—morning, afternoon, evening, and even in between.
I thought things would slow down once she returned to work, but surprisingly, it only got more frequent. No matter how busy her day had been, spending intimate time together every evening became non-negotiable.
And then there's the 4:00 a.m. routine.
Almost every other morning, she'll wake me up at 4:00 a.m. because she's in the mood. All I want to do is sleep, but somehow she always manages to convince me otherwise.
Sometimes, I pretend I'm not feeling well. I'll say I have a headache, back pain, or that my body is aching, hoping she'll let me rest.
Instead, she laughs and says she's the perfect cure. According to her, a little affection is all I need to feel better.
There are moments when it becomes overwhelming, especially when she starts being playful while I'm simply trying to relax.
Whenever I complain, she jokingly reminds me that we're married now and says she has every right to shower me with affection whenever she wants. Of course, she's teasing, but sometimes I wish she'd understand that I need a break too.
Yesterday, I told her I wanted to spend a few days at my parents' house just to clear my head and recharge.
She looked at me in surprise and asked, "Why? We just got married."
I told her I simply needed a little breathing space before I lost my mind.
Ever since I left, she's been calling and texting, asking when I'll be coming back home.
When I explained everything to my parents, they couldn't stop laughing.
My mom smiled and said, "You've only been married for two weeks, and you're already complaining?"
Now I'm just confused.
Am I overreacting, or is this something every newly married couple goes through? Calling Grace
