TOPIC: OVERCOMING PERSISTENT OPPOSITIONS

- There are forces that seek to hinder God’s purpose for our lives.

- Romans 7:15 KJV. There is a spirit behind this, they wait at the next step of progress and then oppose it.
- The moment there is constant opposition, progress leaves or stops.

- The spirit of Amalek is the spirit of persistent opposition.

- God expects us to identify such spirits of opposition in our lives and deal with them.

- Deuteronomy 25:17-19 NLT. You must destroy this spirit, never forget!

- Exodus 17: 8-16 NLT. Wherever you find the spirit of Amalek in any area of your life, it is important that you bring it into subjection and destroy it.

- You can overcome the spirit of Amalek in the place of prayer.

- Watch out for old sins you keep going back to, that's the spirit of Amalek.

- The spirit of Amalek comes in unexpected attacks, so watch out for that.

- The spirit of Amalek are vicious people, they come against people at the point of weakness.

- You must recognize patterns that make you go back to that sin and how the enemy shows up, so you can know how to deal with such spirits permanently.

- Lack of prayer could be the spirit of Amalek.

- The spirit of Amalek could be present in your life in any form, so check it out and pray against them.

- Nahum 1:5 TPT. You are not alone in this battle. Victory is yours.

Who are those invited to this meeting;

- The weary, the heavy laden, the oppressed, the hopeless, sinners, backsliders, sick, weak, lifeless, and those in horrible pits. Matthew 11:28 KJV.

*The agenda of this meeting God is calling us to is;*
- To discuss the covenant with Abraham. Genesis 17:6-10 KJV.

- So He will tell us His own roles, as well as our own responsibilities. Deuteronomy 10:12 KJV.

- To discuss our relationship; are you a child?, is He your father?

- To discuss confession and repentance.

- There's a plea to come back home, for humility, self control, etc.

- To discuss the issues of life.

- To talk about outstanding matters.

- To remember our creator in these times and not to walk in sin.

- There's no emphasis on our guilt or past sins on this agenda, but only the offer of His powerful redemption which gives us the promised result.

- Isaiah 1:1-20 KJV. God called the children of Israel to a discussion to talk about their sin.

- God calls us to a talk so we can reason together.

*God is calling us to this meeting;*

- So we can discuss our lives with him not because we are good but because of his mercy. Titus 3:5 KJV.

- So we can be with him forever. John 17:24 KJV.

- So He will put us in service. John 16:33 KJV.
