How do we position ourselves to enjoy the significance of God;
1. Being filled with the Spirit of God. Eph 5:18-20. One of the place that will change when filled with the Spirit of God is your mouth. Acts 2:4. Your language must change. And we must make melody to the Lord in our heart. Col 3:16-17. When you are filled with the Spirit, it affects your language. The indwelling of the word gives the same effect as being filled with the Spirit.

2. We must make progress. Growth is essential. This is attained when we allow the word of God to find expression in our hearts. This is where character is formed. Our progress produces significance.

4 ways that Growth add significance to our lives;
1️⃣ Growth impacts your character. It is dangerous to give great responsibility to people without character. Giftedness is not character. Every child of God should have the character of Christ.

Every growth must impact your character because the change must be from inside. Whatever you are growing is what people feed on. What kind of fruit are you growing? Gal 4:1-3, 1 Cor 3:1-3. Carnality is the fruit of lack of growth. 1 Peter 2:1-2.

How to grow;
❇️ Your devotion. Anything that tampers with your devotion is tampering with your growth. Your devotion to God will transform your personal life. Mal 2:15

❇️ Your Pastor. Who is pastoring you? You must be planted in a house of God where you feed. Heb 13:17. You must be under a spiritual authority. To make spiritual progress, you must be planted and rooted.

❇️ Your fellowship. The fellowship of the brethren has a part to play in your growth. 1 Cor 14:26. Who are your companions? Who do you fellowship with?

❇️ Your friends. Who are your friends? Prov 13:20

2️⃣ Growth produces capacity. John 16:22. When you grow, you are trusted with more. Isa 54:2. Growth enlarges your capacity to do more and handle more. God is calling us to growth.

3️⃣ Growth develops discernment. Heb 5:13. Matured believers recognizes truth by virtue of development. 1 Sam 16:7. Crowd is not approval. When we grow, we become more sensitive. Maturity helps a believer know the source of a thing even when the thing seems likely true. Don’t joke with your sensitivity.

4️⃣ Growth produces stability. Strong believers remain steadfast despite changing circumstances. God’s goal is to change you from inside out.

✳️ When transformation meets preparation, significance becomes inevitable.

✳️ God just doesn’t take us to a new place, He first makes us a new person.

Prayers;
Help me Lord. Help me to walk in faith regardless of the circumstances around me.
