I saw my next-door neighbour’s clothes outside when the rain started, but I didn’t pack them because of what happened the last time I helped her. She said one of her clothes was missing after I helped her pack her clothes only for her to later find it in her room.
I was hurt and swore never to help her with her clothes again.
But today, watching her clothes get soaked in the rain made me feel like I was a bad person for not helping. 😔
Honestly, I’m still wondering if I did the right thing by leaving her clothes outside, or was I right to keep my distance after what happened last time?
