The first miracle of our recently concluded outreach was the weather.

We prayed earnestly for good weather, and God did what only He can do. Just a day before the program, it rained heavily all day, but we kept our faith anchored in God.

The date for the outreach was not chosen based on weather forecasts. It was God’s perfect timing, and we are grateful for His Presence with us throughout the outreach.

We are also deeply thankful for every resource God provided to make the event a success. To our dear donors whom God inspired to give, thank you. We did not directly ask anyone for donations; we simply shared the vision, and hearts responded.

Your labour of love will never go unrewarded. Thank you for standing with us in love, faith, and compassion toward the elderly and the Isakaba community. ❤️

There are moments when heaven calls a generation back to prayer.

This is one of those moments.

We gathered for *WHEN THE ELDERLY PRAY* a powerful atmosphere of worship, healing, salvation, intercession, and encounter as we trust God for restoration over lives, families, and the Isakaba community.

We were honored to have Minister Ngozi Anyanwu-Nwosu as one of our invited guests for this special gathering.

Meet Alfred "Alfie" Date, Australia's oldest man, who spent his final days doing something truly heartwarming knitting tiny ers to help save injured penguins.🐧🐧🐧
At 110 years old, Alfie answered a call from his retirement home to help penguins affected by an oil spill. The little jumpers kept the birds warm and prevented them from pecking at their toxic feathers, giving them a real shot at recovery.
His creations were sent to the Phillip lsland Penguin Foundation, where they helped thousands of penguins heal. Alfie's story shows how even in your final years, you can still make a huge difference one stitch at a time.

At Project Grey, we’re reminded daily that many grandparents are the silent heroes holding up families, making impossible choices, and doing whatever it takes to give the next generation a chance.

This grandmother brought 6 live chickens to her granddaughters school as fees after she was sent home.

In a touching display of determination, a grandmother surprised teachers at Adiedo Mixed Secondary School by arriving with her granddaughter and six live chickens—to settle the girl's unpaid school fees. The elderly woman had brought the poultry after her granddaughter was sent home for lack of payment.

In a moment that moved onlookers, one of the hens even laid an egg on the spot, which is a sign of God's blessing and proving that the grandmother had sacrificed her precious laying hens to secure the young girl's education.

The unusual but heartfelt payment highlighted the family's commitment to keeping the child in school despite financial struggles.

Today, we celebrate one of Project Grey Elderly Care Initiative’s very own, Samuel Aboki, Samuel Aboki a founding volunteer whose impact continues to echo through our journey. 🗣️🗣️

From the very beginning, Samuel believed in the vision. He didn’t just show up, he led. He singlehandedly built our first team in Cross River State and championed our very first outreach in Obudu, setting the tone for everything that followed. His leadership later extended to Abuja, and he continued to give his all with grace and passion.

But his contributions didn’t stop there, Samuel is the creative mind behind our beautiful logo, a symbol that still powerfully represents our mission more 9 years later.

Today, we honor not just the work he did, but the heart with which he served. We can never truly tell the story of Project Grey without mentioning his name.

Thank you, Samuel, for your selfless service, enduring commitment, and compassionate leadership. We are grateful for you, and we celebrate the incredible man that you are.
