EYN Projects joins the global community in marking World Breastfeeding Week.
Breastfeeding remains one of the most effective ways to protect child health and survival, yet many mothers still lack the information, support, and enabling environment they need to succeed.

Let us protect our children's future, one feed at a time.

At EYN Projects, we believe every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving, and protective environment.
In partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria, through our Safe Family Session under the ENRICH Consortium Project, we engaged 25 caregivers in Magumeri LGA on the theme "Right to Be Safe." The session focused on strengthening caregivers' understanding of children's rights, recognising signs of abuse and neglect, promoting positive parenting, and creating safe spaces where children feel heard, protected, and supported.
By empowering caregivers with practical knowledge and skills, we are strengthening families, promoting child protection, and helping children thrive in nurturing environments.
Together, we can build communities where every child is safe, valued, and protected.

With support from Norwegian Church Aid Nigeria - NCA, we strengthened the capacity of health service providers in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) to improve access to quality, adolescent-friendly health services in humanitarian settings.
The training equipped participants with practical knowledge on adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights, youth-friendly service delivery, counselling approaches, meaningful adolescent engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and strategies for integrating ASRH into routine health services.
Through interactive presentations, group discussions, role plays, and case studies, participants explored ways to overcome stigma, respect adolescents' privacy and confidentiality, and provide inclusive, non-judgmental care.
As the training concluded, participants developed practical action plans to apply the knowledge gained within their health facilities, contributing to stronger, more responsive health services for adolescents across displacement and host communities.
Together, we are building the capacity of health workers to ensure every adolescent has access to safe, respectful, and quality sexual and reproductive health services.

In partnership with Norwegian Church Aid Nigeria - NCA, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our ENGAGE participants after successfully completing a series of sessions on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, life skills, healthy relationships, and the prevention of early and forced marriage.
The participants; comprising younger and older adolescent boys, married and unmarried women and girls, as well as their caregivers, demonstrated dedication and commitment throughout the programme. Their journey has equipped them with the knowledge and skills to foster respectful relationships, challenge harmful social norms, and contribute to safer, more inclusive communities.
To recognize their commitment, certificates were presented to each participant, marking not just the completion of the programme but the beginning of their role as champions of positive change and advocates for the prevention of GBV.
Together, we are empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and building a future where everyone can live free from violence and discrimination.

EYN Projects participated in a two-day Inception Workshop for the Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) Climate Resilience Livelihood (CRL) and Women Transforming Economy (WTE), a Christian Aid in Nigeria Signature Program for West and Central Africa (WCA) Nigeria Hub. Joining implementing partners to establish a shared vision and a system shift approach for sustainable, community-resilient livelihoods.
The workshop brought us together to align on program objectives, implementation strategies, expected deliverables, roles and responsibilities, and coordination mechanisms to guide effective delivery.
Our Program, Finance, MEAL, and Communications teams actively engaged in participative discussions, reinforcing the importance of cross-functional teamwork and strong partnerships.
This milestone marks the beginning of a collective journey towards strengthening climate-resilient livelihoods, advancing women's economic empowerment, and fostering sustainable development in the communities we serve.

Protecting children requires strong systems, collaboration, and continuous learning to ensure every child grows in a safe and supportive environment.

EYN Projects, in partnership with Save the Children, Nigeria, held the Quarterly Case Management Meeting under the ENRICH Project. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Child Protection team to review progress made, assess achievements, discuss challenges encountered, and identify practical strategies to strengthen case management services for vulnerable children.

As part of the engagement, a UNICEF Nigeria Child Protection Specialist facilitated a session on Grave Violations Against Children, equipping the team with deeper knowledge and technical insights to improve child protection responses.

Through partnerships, reflection, and continuous capacity strengthening, EYN Projects remains committed to ensuring that every child is protected, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
