Delight Affection Foundation

Delight Affection Foundation (DAF) is pleased to welcome Aisha Mohammed, deployed through the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), for a one-year professional learning and field experience placement aimed at strengthening practical capacity and career development.

As part of her onboarding and field exposure, Aisha today had her first engagement with community Nutrition Mobilizers and WASHCom members, providing an opportunity to interact directly with frontline community structures that support nutrition and WASH interventions.

This engagement marks the beginning of an important journey of learning, relearning, and professional growth as she works closely with community actors to gain hands-on experience and deepen her understanding of integrated humanitarian and development programming.

We appreciate the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme for the opportunity granted to Delight Affection Foundation to mentor, guide, and support young professionals through structured practical experience.

We remain committed to providing an enabling environment for growth, knowledge transfer, and professional excellence throughout this one-year engagement.

At Gubiyo Camp in Marte today, we continue our activities with an insightful conversation with the women before moving into the rally. Their courage, resilience, and determination remind us why our work matters.
Delight Affection Foundation, in collaboration with Monclub International, continues with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in the community. The 2025 theme, “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” calls attention to the new and emerging threats women face online and through technology.
As we stand with them, we reaffirm our commitment to awareness, prevention, and collective action for a violence-free society.

🟠 16 Days of Activism | Marte LGA (2025)

As part of the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Delight Affection Foundation (DAF) in collaboration with Monclub International is engaging Gubiyo camp community in Marte LGA to confront and end GBV.

Our team held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with community leaders and religious leaders, creating a safe space to discuss GBV, harmful norms, and the community’s role in prevention and response.

Our aim this year under the theme “Unite for Justice and Dignity – End GBV” is to
✅ Raise awareness and build community consensus
✅ Promote zero tolerance for violence against women and girls
✅ Empower survivors, encourage reporting, and support healing
✅ Mobilize collective commitment for safer and just communities

Together, we stand for dignity, justice, and safety for all.
