In the spirit of International Youth Day, PRIDE Initiative, in partnership with TTHO and ProPath Nexus Ltd, organized an educative, engaging, and memorable game session with adolescents and young people in IDP camps in Jere LGA, Borno State.

The session provided a safe and joyful space for young people to connect, build friendships, strengthen unity, and develop resilience. It also created opportunities for participants to discover and showcase their talents while putting smiles on their faces.

PRIDE remains committed to empowering young people, promoting their well-being, and creating opportunities for them to thrive despite the challenges they face. Every young person deserves the opportunity to be heard, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Yesterday, as we joined the global community in commemorating International Youth Day 2026, we celebrated the passion, resilience, creativity, and leadership of young people who continue to drive positive change in their communities.

At Peace Restoration and Integral Global Development Initiative (PRIDE) in collaboration with Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization, we believe that youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow, they are the change makers of today. Through humanitarian action, community engagement, skills development, advocacy, and volunteerism, young people continue to inspire hope and create lasting impact across the communities we serve.

Today, we celebrate every breastfeeding mother for the incredible love, sacrifice, and dedication you show every day. Your breast milk is more than nourishment it is a child's first vaccine, providing essential nutrition, protection against disease, comfort, and the foundation for healthy growth and development.

PRIDE Nigeria, we recognize that supporting, protecting, and promoting breastfeeding is vital to improving child survival, nutrition, and maternal health, especially in humanitarian settings.

PRIDE Initiative was privileged to support a joint assessment and coordination visit by a high-level delegation comprising representatives from the CCCM/Shelter/NFI Sector, IOM–UN Migration, and NEMA to the Ngala Reception Centre. During the visit, our team provided critical operational information on the reception centre, including the humanitarian context, service delivery, priority needs, and coordination mechanisms supporting newly arrived and conflict-affected populations.

As a community-driven humanitarian organization with a strong presence in hard-to-reach communities, PRIDE Initiative remains committed to delivering timely, accountable, and people-centered assistance to vulnerable populations affected by conflict and natural disasters. Through our local knowledge, trusted community relationships, and operational capacity, we continue to support coordinated humanitarian responses that uphold dignity and strengthen resilience.

We welcome opportunities to partner with UN agencies, international and national NGOs, government institutions, private sector actors, and philanthropic organizations to expand the reach and impact of life-saving and early recovery interventions. Together, we can build resilient communities, improve access to essential services, and create lasting solutions for people most in need.

Our team recently took part in a three-day capacity-building training on disability inclusion, organized by Grow Strong Foundation and facilitated by Christian Blind Mission (CBM) Nigeria. The training was truly impactful, offering valuable insights and practical skills.
