Dear Fellow Rotaractors, Partners in Service, and Friends,

Happy New Rotary Year!

As we step into a fresh year of service, I am filled with gratitude for the commitment, passion, and energy each of you brings to the Rotaract Club of Offa Metropolitan CB. Together, we have laid a strong foundation, and this year gives us another chance to build higher and reach farther.

Our focus for this Rotary year is anchored on the theme: "Unite for Good to Create Lasting Impact."

This theme is a call to action for all of us. It reminds us that our individual strengths become unstoppable when we unite. When we put aside differences and work as one team, we create projects that do not just touch lives for a moment, but leave legacies for generations.

This year, let us:
1. Unite in fellowship, ideas, and service across clubs, zones, and communities.
2. Act for Good by prioritizing impactful, sustainable projects that address real needs in Offa and beyond.
3. Create Lasting Impact through collaboration, innovation, and consistency in all we do.

I encourage every member to stay engaged, share your ideas, volunteer your time, and hold each other accountable. Presidents, officers, and members alike, let us collaborate more intentionally this year. Our success will be measured by the lives we change.

Project Impact:
Beyond the Mirror explored the connection between body positivity and entrepreneurial success. Our club joined this powerful conversation to empower entrepreneurs, especially young women, through self-reflection, personal growth, and confidence-building.

🤱 Maternal & Child Health: Caring for Mothers, Protecting Futures, Serving with Love 💙

We are proud to announce the successful completion of our Maternal & Child Health Project 2025! 🎉

📅 Date: Thursday, 14th August 2025
🏛️ Venue: Badari Primary Health Care Centre, Alabiowo Street, Ilorin, Kwara State
👥 Beneficiaries: Over 70 pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and families
🤝 Hosted by: Rotaract Club of Offa Metropolitan in partnership with Kwara State Rotaract Zone 1, District 9126, and other Rotaract Clubs

Project Impact:
The Maternal & Child Health Project provided free health screenings, counseling, and essential health kits to vulnerable community members. Our club joined this life-saving service to ensure mothers and children receive care, dignity, and hope.

Key Highlights:
🩺 Free Health Screenings - HIV/AIDS Testing, Blood Pressure Screening, and Hepatitis B Screening delivered by medical professionals
🗣️ Health Talks & Counselling - Expert sessions to educate mothers and families on safe pregnancy, childcare, and disease prevention
🎁 Distribution of Free Delivery Kits - Essential health kits provided to support safe delivery and postnatal care for mothers

Our Outcome:
The project had a significant impact on the health and well-being of beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude for the accessible and life-saving services. It reaffirmed that community health begins with compassion and action.
