A young hippopotamus named Gibbs received treatment for an injury to his front leg.
Born at the Nagasaki Bio Park in Japan, the calf experienced mobility difficulties from birth because one of his forelegs was slightly bent.
To improve the leg's alignment and enable him to move more comfortably with his siblings, veterinarians and zookeepers fitted Gibbs with a small protective cast specially designed for his leg.
